Abstract/Summary:
With the acceleration of economic globalization and the rapid development of China’s foreign economy,container trade has played an important role in the process of China becoming the world’s second largest trading country.Against the backdrop of the global surge in container traffic,large ports in several countries have begun to construct automatic container terminals,in order to meet the operation requirements of ultra large container ships.This paper takes a kind of container handling equipment-Rail Mounted Gantry Crane as the research object,carried out a simulation study on how to choose lane technology,designed and developed an automatic container truck identification system,and conducts in-depth theoretical research on the key issues of its maintenance strategy and spare parts ordering strategy after putting into operation.The purpose is to ensure the efficiency of its lane layout selection and realize automatic identification of container trucks,also provides theoretical support for the maintenance and spare parts ordering of Automated Rail Mounted Gantry Crane.The specific research content is as follows:Firstly,investigate the basic situation of container terminal industry,demonstrate the necessity and technical feasibility of automation transformation.Secondly,use Witness software to model the operation area and equipment of a container terminal,simulate the unloading of a quayside container crane while the container yard is carrying out collection and distribution operations under the premise of ideal shore loading and unloading capacity,compare the performance of container yard operation capability when using two different lane technology of automated track bridge,and select the optimal scheme according to the simulation results.Thirdly,designed and developed ARMG automatic container truck identification system.The system includes a radio frequency identification system and a position detection system,responsible for detecting the position of the container truck and passing the position to the terminal operating system.Install RFID electronic tags on container trucks,and install identification antennas and readers on ARMG,program the three functional modules of the position detection system.Finally,according to the preventive maintenance theory,selecte the equipment availability as constraints,and identify the total cost asoptimization objective.The paper constructed the preventive maintenance optimization model and spare parts ordering decision optimization model.The the algorithms of SOA was used to obtain the best optimizing variable,theoretical optimal parameters including the failure prediction period,preventive maintenance threshold,and spare parts ordering threshold were obtained.Based on the design results of this paper,Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes have been transformed,and good practical results were obtained.The success rate of automatically identifying container trucks is as high as 98.5%,the mechanical efficiency of ARMG up to 35 TEU per hour.
