Hoist-transportating machines have played more and more important role in modern bridge construction. In the construction of fabrication yard, hoist-transportating machine that we selected will have important influence on speed and benefit of construction. Based on its compact constructure, assembling and dismantling expedently, the big span, the simple operation and the level transportation with high efficiency, gantry crane have widely applied in the most of construction of bridge prefabricated field's prefabricated component.Research on science norm about gantry crane in the world begins from 80's in 20 centuries. At that time, composers are conservative for the sake of safety The cranes are bulky and hulking but hard enduring, because of the restriction of experiment technique and metals material. With the development of science and technology, the gantry crane designers pay more attention to science and simpleness. The study on gantry crane is for the sake of fixing expedently, working safely and reponsefully, energy saving and environmental protection.The gantry crane designed in this article is used in hoisting the Borge precoated plate which used in the light axle railroad construction. Because of the special structure of Borge precoated plate, the gantry crane designed in this article have special structure of double hooks and double small cars. The study and design are mainly based on the technique request. In this article, two key problems are solved: 1) Synchronous problem of double hooks and double small cars. 2) Multiple wheels turn around independently.This paper introduces the topic's background, research contents and meaning, the structure of gantry crane, load characteristics and speed adjusting methods firstly, then analyzs the principle of variable frequency speed adjustment, variable voltage speed adjustment and complets the selection of work-class and the calculation of loads according to GB/T 3811 (Design Specification of Crane). Capacity calculating and checking of motors are finished according to the work-class selection and the load calculation, in process of organization designing. For the sake of the different technique requirement, three velocity modulation methods have been used in this paper. Y-â–³starting rechnique were used for the lifting mechines; Variable frequency speed adjustment were used for the small cars and the hydrostatic steering driveline system for walking mechines. In order to respond the dynamic performance of the synchronization control, this paper mades use of MATLAB to carry on simulating to the synchronous strategy of lifting mechines and small cars. The result prove that the synchronous strategy can ensure the synchronous control, meeting the technique requirement.Siemens S7-300 PLC is the core of the control system. In the last chapter of this paper, the design of the PLC control system is given, including hardware configuration, main procedure process and parts of sub-procedures Finish the design of electricity control system of the gantry crane completely.
