Shanxi Shuozhou Kiln Building Skills And Its Aesthetic Cultural Tradition

Kiln in architecture is a continuation and development of the original cave living,is the carrier of thousands of years history,inheriting Chinese agricultural civilization,rolling hills,north Shanxi Province high low south and north and south is long and narrow,climate change,large difference of north and south,as shanxi traditional kiln in the building style and external space presents different regional characteristic,especially in the area of it is mined here kiln characteristics significantly.Local residents rely on the characteristics of fine and dry soil,easy to dig,because of the use of materials to create a traditional style of kiln residence,with the enrichment of building materials and the maturity of building skills,people gradually develop into a unique style of kiln residence architecture.In recent years,the transformation and optimization of traditional kiln buildings have produced many new kiln residences,making more and more people begin to re-examine the cave culture.This paper mainly takes the kiln residence in Shuozhou area as the main research object.Through on-the-spot interviews and photography,on the basis of discussing the historical development of kiln residence,according to the architectural technology and material conditions,it clarifies the style changes and construction techniques of kiln residence in Shuozhou from ancient times to now,and further illustrates with specific cases.Then combined with the actual living environment of cave dwellers,this paper summarizes and summarizes the aesthetic cultural traditions embodied in the site selection custom,space design,color elements,aesthetic thinking and facade modeling of kiln dwelling architecture.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,focusing on the research background and purpose of this paper,literature review,research innovation and methods,and related concepts involved in this paper are defined and explained.The text of the second part is the paper,based on the field of field investigation and analysis of the kiln in data study,an overall understanding of the development of the cave and types,and then expounds it is mined here area kiln in construction craft,compound design,internal space layout and building facade composition and internal structure,and extended to show the aesthetic cultural connotation of it is mined here kiln dwelling.The body part is divided into four chapters:The first chapter focuses on the historical development of kiln residences in Shuozhou area,the basic background of the formation,the classification of kiln residences and the new development of kiln residences in the contemporary era,combining with the basic elements of building composition.The second chapter,through the method of interviews and literature analysis,elaborates on the construction techniques of kiln residence architecture from three aspects: the choice of arch style,the evolution of construction technology,the courtyard design and the layout of internal space.The fourth chapter,based on the aesthetic concept of human practicality and beauty,describes one by one the siting customs of kiln buildings in accordance with local conditions,the scientific space design,the harmonious and simple color decoration and the facade modeling full of wisdom.The fourth chapter discusses the contemporary value of kiln buildings,inherits and develops the excellent traditional cultural genes.The third part is the conclusion of the thesis,which summarizes the research contents and ideas of kiln dwellings in Shuozhou area on the whole,and forecasts the protection and future development trend of kiln dwellings in Shuozhou based on the analysis of the current situation of cave dwellings.
