The Research On The Contemporary Design Of Kangding Traditional Tibetan Culture

With the rapid development of modern society and the acceleration of urbanization, our traditional culture has been greatly impacted. Gradually unique urban and architectural cultural features decline and disappear into jeopardy. In the context of globalization, how to make the traditional regional architectural culture inherited and develop sustainably has become an important issue.Kangding, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province is located in the west of China under the Kham Tibetan cultural sphere. Its unique natural and human environment has created its very unique Tibetan architectural culture. Tibetan houses,which reflect the Tibetan people more harsh living environment in the process of creating intellectual and artistic achievements as Architecture Without Architects, is an important part of Kangding Tibetan Architecture. From a cultural perspective, this essay selects an important representative of Kangding Tibetan houses-Muya Tibetan houses as the research object, by using architecture and in urban planning professional theory, combined with the natural environment, historical and cultural background, religion and other related knowledge, by literature review, field research, mapping, interviews and design practice, Kangding Muya Tibetan traditional houses have been given a more comprehensive study.Firstly, from the natural and human environment, the background Muya Tibetan traditional houses formation comes into view. Because settlement and residential building construction is the main carrier of culture, which is common as a research subject. Settlement analyses start mainly with site selection factors, location mode, the types of layout, residential construction industry mainly for detailed analysis and research from a flat shape, functional layout, surface design, color, decoration, architecture and construction aspects. On this basis, its religious culture, defense, culture,and cultural connotation have been tapped into and a culture of respect for nature and the local ecological and cultural material in four areas have been created.As a result, the essence of its architectural culture is better-known.Secondly, then come to the investigation of the status quo Muya Tibetan residential areas, analyses of the causes of the current situation and the problems, both from their own residential and non-residential buildings with the purpose of the exploration of the culture of traditional residence of inheritance and development. Updates from two aspects of their houses feature and technical optimization, non-residential buildings from the continuation of the urban fabric, the reproduction of traditional architectural space conception, rendering traditional spiritual connotation construction, expanding technology and material level, the traditional symbol of contemporary architecture using five start have been put in the first place.Finally,through the main bridge Kangding Gong Area regional architectural creation strategies discussed above for further explanation, it is hoped that this article can make a modest contribution to Sichuan residential research system, making it possible to study other areas of residential architectural culture, and having regional architecture practice Kangding provide certain information and reference.
