| The richness of daily activities of the elderly has a positive impact on their health and quality of life.China’s population aging situation is becoming increasingly serious,"active aging" has become an important policy framework for the whole society to deal with the aging problem.Improving the opportunity choice of daily activities of the elderly has a promoting effect on the realization of active aging.However,the selective opportunity of daily activities of elderly people is closely related to their feasible ability.Exploring the complex impact of built environment on the daily activities of the elderly from the perspective of feasible ability opens up new ideas for the city planning field.In addition to being a linear channel of factor flow,street should be regarded as an indispensable local place to provide necessary environmental support for the daily activities of the elderly,and has a promoting effect on the occurrence of their activities,thus affecting the occurrence frequency and distribution pattern of their activities.However,with the rapid expansion of the city,the street environment is facing many difficulties,such as the decline of walkability,the decline of life style and the low vitality,which is the direct cause of the frequent decline of the utilization efficiency of street space for the urban elderly with relatively weak physical activity support system.Therefore,it is helpful to improve the active health intervention of the built-up environment of streets and promote the construction of friendly streets for the elderly.Based on the research at home and abroad,this study constructs a systematic analysis framework covering multi-dimensional Street environmental factors(street walkability,living and aesthetics),and based on the first-hand data of the questionnaire survey of Dalian elderly in 2020,the quantitative statistical correlation analysis method is the first to identify the daily activities of the elderly(physical exercise,leisure and social interaction)The street environmental factors that have influence on the daily household.Next,through the selection of typical cases,the comparative analysis of the different levels of elderly activities of the environmental factors characteristics,preliminary test of correlation analysis results.Finally,the paper constructs multiple regression model to identify the street environmental factors which affect the activity ability of the elderly,and explores the synergy between the elements,and clarifies the action path and mechanism between the regional and street environment and the activity ability of the elderly.The results show that the street environmental factors in different dimensions play an important role in the choice of daily activities opportunities for the elderly.The specific details are as follows: the dimension of street walkability,its environmental factors are the key factors to improve the physical exercise and leisure social activities opportunities of the elderly,mainly reflected in the level of pedestrian safety,and the street connectivity is the second.In addition,the pedestrian environment factors of street also have important influence on daily household activities,among which the street outline scale and walking safety are more obvious;the street life dimension,its environmental factors are the core factors to improve the leisure and social and daily housework opportunities of the elderly,and have an important influence on physical exercise activities;the street aesthetic dimension,its environmental factors are The key factors of the elderly household activities selection and their leisure and social activities can not be underestimated.Finally,based on the research findings and the current characteristics of Dalian street environment,the typical district with low activity capacity of the elderly is selected,and the targeted street environment optimization measures are proposed according to local conditions,which can provide effective support for guiding the construction of healthy city,sustainable traffic development and active aging social construction. |
