On the land of China with a long history and culture,there are a variety of cultural tourism areas with various characteristics,and the concept of cultural tourism(referred to as cultural tourism)has also become popular.Among these dazzling choices,how the cultural tourism area seizes opportunities in the big environment to attract tourists’ attention and gain from it is the key to the problem.Pop-up book design has gradually emerged in China in recent years,and there is a group of excellent pop-up book designs with the theme of cultural tourism in the front,providing a new medium for the promotion of cultural tourism areas,and also for the design of tourism cultural and creative products Provides a new direction.Pop-up book design has a long history in the West and is relatively mature.Although this kind of creative book product design is still in the preliminary stage in China and has a large development space,it has quickly gained the favor of domestic designers due to its unique three-dimensional paper art,interesting interactive forms,and powerful derivative capabilities..In recent years,a number of excellent domestic original pop-up book designs have sprung up in the public eye.Among them,pop-up books with the theme of cultural tourism area promotion and introduction have played their due role in the promotion of cultural tourism and the development of cultural and creative products.The subject will develop and design pop-up book series products with Weishan ancient city cultural tourism as the theme.Taking the design practice as an example,analyze and study the development and design of pop-up books for cultural tourism,and provide experience for the future development of such products.The research combines the advantages of pop-up book design,combined with regional cultural and tourism needs,and applies local characteristic materials to promote the recognition of cultural and tourism areas,publicize characteristic cultural and tourist attractions and projects,and develop local characteristic tourism and cultural and creative products as the goal to form a unique local Cultural tourism development methods,and finally summarize practical experience to provide references for the promotion and development of cultural tourism in other scenic spots from the perspective of product design.The main research contents of this paper are as follows: 1.To clarify the necessity of cultural tourism development and promotion,sample and analyze the current situation of cultural tourism in representative regions in China,and understand the common needs of cultural tourism regions from different perspectives.2.Carry out key analysis and research on pop-up books for cultural tourism areas,summarize pop-up book design experience from its longitudinal historical development,examine the current market situation,refine the relationship between similar design works and cultural tourism,and analyze the potential of other product forms that affect cultural tourism.Refer to the design experience and make a final summary.3.Carry out design practice,put research into action,take the development and design of the cultural and tourism pop-up book product series of Weishan Ancient City as the experimental object,carry out pop-up book design,derivative paper art product design and other practical activities,sum up experience and lessons for the future Plan to provide direction.The main value of the research lies in providing experience for the development and design of cultural tourism pop-up books,and exploring how to promote the cultural characteristics of regional cultural tourism areas in the form of pop-up books from the perspective of product design,forming a derivative effect,and contributing to the culture of cultural tourism areas.The promotion and development of tourism provide a new sustainable direction.
