In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy and urbanization,people pay more attention to the design of green landscape and put forward higher standards in the implementation of numerous urban reconstruction and beautiful countryside construction projects.As a result,the demand for technical personnel is increasing rapidly,and there are higher requirements for the training of professional technical personnel in vocational gardens.It is a complicated systematic project to train the vocational garden technical talents who are more suitable for the market demand,in which the scientific and reasonable curriculum setting play a vital role in the process of talent training.In an interview with a garden company,the author also found that the ability of graduates majoring in gardens in secondary vocational schools failed to meet the requirements of the company’s job objectives.Based on this situation,it is significant to study and adjust the curriculum of secondary vocational landscape architecture specialty to improve the quality of talent training.According to the theoretical basis and national policy of secondary vocational curriculum,this thesis investigates and analyzes the current situation of landscape architecture curriculum in Lanzhou x school from four aspects: training objectives,curriculum structure,curriculum content and curriculum implementation through literature,questionnaire and interview methods.It is found that the orientation of the training target is not accurate,the structure of the course is unreasonable,the content of the course is not targeted and the implementation of the course is arbitrary.And analyzes the causes of these problems: the school’s objective positioning is not clear,the lack of advanced and effective vocational education theory guidance,the conditions of curriculum setting is not sufficient,the lack of professional personnel to complete the scientific and reasonable curriculum setting,the conditions to ensure the effective implementation of curriculum setting is not perfect,the lack of professional teachers and practical training conditions.In view of the existing problems in the curriculum setting of Landscape Architecture in Lanzhou X School,this thesis puts forward some optimization suggestions from the following four aspects,including scientific and accurate orientation of training objectives,construction of a complete and reasonable curriculum structure,curriculum content reflecting specialty characteristics and creation of a guarantee mechanism for efficient curriculum implementation.Finally,according to the requirements of the country,industry and the individual needs of the students,on the basis of the original training program of the school,it is optimized from four aspects: training objective,course content,teaching plan and teaching evaluation.We propose a more suitable training program for the development of students majoring in landscape architecture in this school.This study aims to reflect the current situation of landscape architecture curriculum of Lanzhou X secondary vocational school,analyze its existing problems,and try to optimize the landscape architecture curriculum of Lanzhou X secondary vocational school,in order to improve the quality of talent cultivation of the school by improving the curriculum setting.
