The satisfaction of cruise life is closely related to the environment of cruise ship cabins.A well-designed effect of the cabin plays an important role in improving the comfort.Shipowners and tourists can only observe the design effect through twodimensional drawings and some static information,and it is difficult to show whether the design effect meets their requirements.Evaluating the cabin design effect is the main way to measure the quality of its design effect.However,due to the polymorphism and ambiguity of the design plan evaluation indicators,it is difficult to use an accurate data to evaluate the quality of the cabin design effect.In the process of selecting a solution,they always rely on the experience and intuition of the designer to judge.In order to solve the above problems,this paper takes cruise cabins as the research object and establishes three-dimensional modeling of cabins.Basing on researching into the principles,methods,and implementation procedures of cruise cabin design scheme’s evaluation,this paper establishes the human-machine-environment evaluation system and comprehensive evaluation model.In order to make the evaluation more systematic and accurate,this paper adopts advanced and applicable evaluation methods.Besides,this paper builds cabin virtual environment and develops a software with the visualization and interaction capabilities by the Unity3 D virtual reality engine.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper realizes the three-dimensional environment model of virtual cabin by using human-machine-environmental system engineering and preliminary modeling based on cruise ship drawings and other information.Secondly,from the aspect of cabin design factors,this paper analyzes the character of living cabin human-machine environment and puts forward a system for evaluation of cabin design.Thirdly,this paper puts forward a comprehensive method based on AHP and FCE by the analysis and comparison of several common methods,and then finishes the evaluation of the cabin design scheme.Finally,this paper develops a visualization software for cruise cabin design based on virtual reality(VR).This software can not only realize interactive functions such as cabin virtual roaming,but also evaluate the design effect comprehensively.Through the above research,this paper puts forward a theory and methodology for ergonomic design and evaluation of cruise cabin and verifies it by examples.Based on virtual reality technology,the three-dimensional visualization of cabin is realized and the design effect is verified.The research work can provide reference for the design of cruise cabin.
