As a spatial structure in which architectural and art forms coexist,the pavilion’s spatial form has flexibility and uniqueness in gardens.Under the influence of culture and environment,the construction method,building structure and overall shape of the pavilion all reflect the aesthetic feelings of the builders.The status of pavilion architecture in the garden can not be ignored,and it can enrich the cultural connotation of the garden from the aesthetic value and literary value of the pavilion.The paper starts from the pavilion building itself,explores the process of the pavilion’s formation and development from the perspectives of history,art and culture.The reason for the pavilion’s appearance and the cultural background that the ancients gave the pavilion are the starting points.This paper analyzes the style and cultural consciousness of pavilions under the writings of the ancients.On the other hand,the planning and form of pavilions in gardens can reflect the unique cultural identity of pavilions.The pavilions in the Jiangnan gardens are small and chic,reflecting the poetic sentiment of the ancients.In this context,this paper discusses the characteristics of pavilions in Suzhou gardens,analyzes the characteristics of the site selection and layout of pavilions when they are built,and the unique cultural temperament of pavilions under the influence of Suzhou’s unique culture.On this basis,the paper combines with the author’s many field visits and the understanding of Suzhou classical garden literature,focusing on the analysis of the cultural composition of the pavilion in Suzhou gardens,the specific analysis of its shape,style and arrangement of location and space and other aspects.At the same time,the author integrated the plaques and couplets on the pavilion and analyzed their cultural connotations in order to investigate the concrete embodiment of the pavilion under the specific cultural paradigm.In addition,the cultural meaning of pavilion architecture is not only influenced by the cultural background of Suzhou,but also reflected in the conception and life experience of the garden owner when he built the pavilion.Pavilion architecture in Suzhou gardens can fully reflect the feeling of seclusion of the ancients,and can present the interest of the ancients to look up to the universe and view Taoism,as well as the artistic conception of the unique way of combining the void and the reality in art. |
