Study On The Design Of Indoor Public Space In Mutual Aid Community

With the vigorous development of the national economy,the aging trend of China’s population is becoming increasingly apparent.Experts predict that the total elderly population in China in 2050 will exceed 480 million,accounting for one-third of the country’s total population.As a new type of old-age care model,the mutual assistance old-age care model came into being.This model provides another feasible way to alleviate the pressure of old-age care in China.Mutual assistance for the elderly is based on the community and is carried out in the form of holding groups or social organizations.Zhou Yanzhao mentioned "encouraging the elderly to return to mixed-age communities and neighbors to help each other" in the summary of the pension model for developed countries.At present,the research on community pension space in China is still insufficient for the consideration of mutual assistance.As a new age product,traditional Community care for the elderly can only meet the needs of improving the elderly’s basic living environment.The space design of the elderly can no longer meet the requirements.It is of great practical value and significance to study the design of indoor public space in mutual assistance elderly care communities.In this paper,the research methods of literature data are used throughout,and the analysis and comparison of classic domestic and foreign classics of elderly support space research cases are analyzed and compared.Active aging,Maslow level needs,and ergonomic theory are used for targeted analysis and thinking,providing the necessary Theoretical support,using questionnaires and surveys to analyze the physiological,psychological,and behavioral characteristics of the elderly.The in-depth analysis and design of residential space needs are summarized.The first is to design the atmosphere space,communication space,and mutual assistance space to meet the spiritual level of the elderly.Housing needs.The second is to analyze the size and capacity regulations,shape regulations,and architectural design requirements of indoor public spaces to meet the elderly’s physiological needs.The third is to analyze the design of the security space,private and semi-private space,open space,and small group ecological activity space to meet the residential needs of the elderly’s behavior characteristics.Finally,the above analysis is carried out,and the design and application strategies of indoor public space in mutual aid elderly community are put forward.This article takes the mutual help model of the elderly as the starting point,and strives to encourage the elderly to actively participate in public space activities,to meet the elderly’s daily life and cultural and entertainment needs,so that the elderly can truly realize the beautiful vision of "supporting the elderly with the elderly".At the same time,I hope to provide a valuable reference for the mutual aid elderly space,so as to improve the service elderly care system in China.
