Project management aims to provide management level guarantee for the efficient operation of a project.It puts forward corresponding management requirements for the project from three dimensions of project quality,cost control and progress management.At present,project management has been fully used in enterprises.Among the three dimensions of project management,schedule management emphasizes more on the management and attention of project duration,and is also more used in large-scale projects.Especially in the process of Metro construction,the correct use of project schedule management will directly affect whether the project can be completed in accordance with the time limit.In order to make the subway construction play a better role in progress management,it is necessary to analyze from multiple dimensions to improve the progress management level of the project itself,which is of great significance to the actual engineering situation.The construction project of Metro Line 3 is an important rail transit construction plan of X city,and plays an important role in the urban planning of X city.During the construction of Line 3,project managers failed to construct a project management system conforming to the project of Line 3 of X City Metro,resulting in delays in the implementation of the project,which made it difficult to complete the project on time.Under such circumstances,this paper analyses the schedule management of X City Metro Line 3 project,and puts forward the optimization scheme of project schedule management in view of its existing problems.This article first elaborates the concept and method of project management and other theoretical content,highlighting the importance of project management in the process of project implementation.Secondly,this paper expounds the current situation of X City Metro Line 3 project,and then combines the current situation of the project to analyze the problems existing in the progress management of X City Metro Line 3 project,and further optimizes the progress management of X City Metro Line 3 project.Finally,the guarantee measures of the progress management of the X City Metro Line 3 project are refined to form an effective monitoring and management method,so as to ensure that the improvement plan of the project progress management can be implemented according to the plan.This paper combines project management with actual metro construction by formulating the schedule management optimization scheme for the construction project of X City Metro Line 3.On the premise of ensuring that the metro construction project can be completed on schedule,the overall management efficiency of the project is improved,and it also provides a reference for similar projects in China in the optimization of project schedule management.
