The strong contrast between the practical effects and the theoretical goals of the performance system work has caused the company’s management to be in trouble.Most companies have various problems in the development and implementation of the performance system.At the same time,most companies have problems in strategic management.The actual cause is that the strategic plan is perfect,but it cannot be effectively implemented.Faced with these management problems,this dissertation attempts to take S company’s planning and development department as an example,using the corresponding theory to refine,analyze and solve the problems of performance system,and combining with the Balanced Score Card to optimize the performance system.This research has developed an effective performance appraisal system for S company,to help resolve the problems in the performance management of the companies.S company is a new energy power construction company,which is engaged in the early development,technical consultation and engineering design of renewable energy resources,including solar energy,wind energy,etc.,and the main business is investment.construction and maintenance in the feasibility of solar energy,wind energy and other construction projects.The research of this dissertation is carried out along the way of "asking questionsanalyzing reasons-solving problems".Firstly,studied the related theories of performance,including consolidating the theoretical basis of performance,performance appraisal and performance management.Elaborating the commonly used methods of performance appraisal,and focusing on the research of balanced scorecard.Secondly.through in-depth investigation of S company’s planning and development department,this dissertation analyzes the current performance situation of this department.According to the validity and reliability of the performance appraisal,it puts forward the problems existing in S company’s performance work,and comprehensively analyses the reasons for these problems.Finally,on the basis of theory and existing problems,combined with the Balanced Score Card tools.I designed the performance appraisal system,and formulated a more suitable performance appraisal system scheme for S company development.Through this research,it is confirmed that the Balanced Score Card is different from other performance appraisal tools.It is a management tool that can combine performance appraisal and strategy management.It can effectively implement strategy while achieving the performance.And it can be applied not only to foreign enterprises but also to our domestic enterprises.
