Under the background of quality-oriented education in the new era,more and more attention has been paid to the teaching space environment.As an auxiliary place for after-school education,children’s bookstores are different from classroom teaching.The relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere is more conducive to promoting the cultivation of children’s reading interest.Bookstores,as an important place for cultural communication,optimize educational space has a positive impact on stimulating children’s interest in reading.Bookstores that focus on children may become an important place for children’s education.Based on the analysis of the space design of the existing children’s bookstores in China,this paper takes the imperfection of children’s reading space as the starting point,and finds that the existing children’s bookstores have such problems as single function,imperfect facilities,lack of characteristics,and insufficient environment and atmosphere to attract children to stay.At the same time,this paper explores the design scheme of friendly,interesting and functional space for children.As a special group,because the child is in the midst of the cognitive thinking of forming stage,so the article emphatically in the research about children’s psychology,pedagogy,children and the environment and children’s friendly relations disciplines such as design theory as reference of design research,through analyzing the domestic and foreign related research theory achievement and children space design classic case,combined with the design concept of children’s friendly,Put forward the necessity of child friendly space design and for the future development trend of children’s bookstore function analysis,put forward the attention to safety as the child friendly space design and the principle of child friendly layout planning for this for the principle of children,including study of children’s reading Spaces theme location,spatial layout,scale analysis,functional design,space,color elements,health and safety measures,etc.Study finally by combining dingxi sugared children’s bookstore to design a case study,through the analysis of the space required function structure and the design requirements,based on the theory of children’s bookstore reading space design research,put forward the space design elements and design planning,display build education environment and child friendly design of mutual coordination,in order to realize the children’s reading in the interest of space,Friendliness is required to grow in space.The research focus of this paper is to introduce the concept of "child friendly" into the design.On the basis of satisfying the basic functions,the ductile design of children’s bookstore is proposed,the service mode of children’s reading activities is expanded,and the design strategy of children’s educational space design and child friendly reading space is explored in the future.We hope to build a child-friendly reading space through space design,so as to provide children with a "child-centered" environment that inspires and guides their interest in reading,so that children can develop healthily in the art space.
