As an indispensable part of the national logistics system,the construction and development of the railway logistics center maintain the healthy operation of the social logistics.But through the development of the national economy and the prosperity of the modern logistics industry,the logistics service functions and operation procedures of the traditional railway logistics center has been unable to meet individualized and certain aspects of the logistics market demand.So how to rationally layout the functional areas to adjust to the modern logistics market is an important issue that needs to be resolved.This paper researches from two perspectives of the railway logistics center service demand analysis and functional area division under the influence of modern logistics.It mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Starting with the basic concepts of railway logistics center and modern logistics,it studies the influence of modern logistics on the logistics service function and the cargo transportation operation process.And it proposes to expand the value-added logistics service function from the perspective of the demand side.At the same time,it proposes to improve the information service level and simplify the operation process.The purpose is to further improve the level of customer service.(2)This paper clarifies the functional positioning of the railway logistics center.And it divides the service functional areas,and designs the operation process of of the cargo category.On this basis,it designs the operation flow line of the cargo category.All of these lay a foundation for the determination of the scale and layout of functional areas.(3)This paper expounds the basic steps of freight volume prediction in railway logistics center.On the basis of Grey-Markov Predictive Model,the optimal subset method is introduced.According to the results of Grey Predictive model,the optimal number of input sequence is selected.And then Markov Chain is used to divide the relative error value of the grey model prediction value optimized by the optimal subset method.Thus the final predictive result is obtained.(4)The paper uses Space Consummation Method and the proportional correction method to determine the scale of each functional area.And it analyzes the shortcomings of the traditional SLP method and make some improvements.It specifies the influence factors on the layout of the functional area.And it takes into account the surrounding existing facilities and internal road traffic factors.Based on this,the article presents a layout model of the railway logistics center functional area based on slicing-tree.This model considers the freight transportation cost and the correlation coefficients between functional areas.It also introduces element shape constraints,position constraints and length to width ratio constraints of functional areas.At the same time,the layout with various irregular boundaries is given.Finally the genetic algorithm(GA)is adopted to figure out the model.And the chromosome coding,selection,crossover and mutation are improved.This paper takes the Jinbei Railway Logistics Center in Datong City as an example.By analyzing its location conditions,the development status of the economic industry and the logistics market,the functional positioning of the Railway Logistics Center is determined.At the same time,it uses the theories and methods proposed in this paper,the freight volume of different cargo categories was predicted.And the scale of the functional area was determined.Finally,the layout of the functional area is optimized.
