| The rapid development of logistics industry these years has played an increainglyimportant role on the world economic development. Many logistics centers were built overthe world for developing the logistics industry, and therefore, to progress the local economics.China is also among the trend. But we needs more research on this industry as it started late inChina and the layout and planning of internal functional areas in a logistics center is still notdistinct. For years, specialists and experts focused their research on the location election oflogistics centers and networks. However, to effectively fulfill the functions of a unit to collect, distribute and circulate goods does not only depend on its location on the networks but alsodepends on its layout and planning of internal functional areas. A reasonable layout andplanning of functional areas helps to realize the functions of a logistics center, to savelogistics cost, to shorten logistics turnover time and to heighten the operational efficiency of alogistics center. Therefore, there is practical significance to do some research on the layoutand planning of internal functional areas in a logistics center.Analyzing some existing layout and planning methods, and considering thecharacteristics of the layout of internal function areas in a logistics center, this thesis doessome mathematic improvement to traditional SLP, and summerises an improved SLP processwhich suits the layout and planning of functional areas in a logistics center better. When thetypes of goods and materials in a logistics center are analyzed, functional areas are divided;the logistics and non-logistics relationship between functional areas are analyzed. In thetheory of non-overlapping constraints between functional areas, boundary constraints betweenfunctional areas and fixed constraints of virtual functional areas, an objective function isstructured to optimize the transfer cost and to maximizing the comprehensive relationshipsbetween functional areas. With genetic algorithm, a solution is achieved that is acomparatively reasonable, scientific and optimized layout project. The improved method istested with practice and cases. The results are evaluated. It turns out that the method ispractical and useful. |
