| Secondary vocational education is an important part of the national education system.in June 2019,the Ministry of Education made an addition to the catalogue of secondary vocational schools,and the major of aerial photogrammetry became a new major.The teaching of practical drone training courses under its major is very important for secondary students’ learning,and how to cultivate high-level emerging technical talents is a common concern for educators.GBL(Game Based Learning)teaching method is a teaching method that enables students to learn based on games,and is a teacher-student-oriented,integrated teaching method that takes into account both teachers’ teaching and students It is an inevitable choice for students to master superb skills,develop core literacy and achieve all-round development.This paper is guided by the theories related to GBL teaching method and conducts an in-depth study on GBL teaching method and drone teaching at home and abroad by means of literature analysis.On the premise of ensuring the relevance and feasibility of the study,the current situation of teaching drone practical training classes was investigated using questionnaires to students in the first and second years of senior secondary school,and the results were processed using the hierarchical analysis weights of relevant research and Excel to summarise the problems in the teaching content,teaching methods and teaching effects of drone practical training classes.Based on the results of the survey,the GBL teaching method was proposed to be applied to the teaching strategy of the secondary drone training class,and the teaching design was carried out for the chapter of "horizontal 8-word flight of a multi-rotor drone" in the secondary drone training class,and finally the GBL teaching strategy was optimized and improved based on the students’ feedback.The findings of the study are as follows.Firstly,it is the consensus of educators to improve the teaching effect by adopting appropriate teaching methods,but the research on teaching methods in secondary schools needs to be deepened,especially the teaching methods of secondary practical training courses.Secondly,through investigation,most teachers in the practical training classes in secondary schools use mechanical teaching methods such as demonstration method and training method,but neglect the development of students’ core literacy,and also encounter problems such as low teaching efficiency.Thirdly,by using the GBL teaching method in drone practical training classes and selecting games that students are more familiar with to set up teaching situations,students’ interest in learning can be better stimulated;the engaging and encouraging nature of teaching games provides students with motivation to learn;students can master operational skills to a greater extent in the process of teaching games;and by completing teaching games through group cooperation,students’ team spirit can be cultivated and core literacy can be enhanced.Taking the actual teaching problems in secondary schools as the guide,according to the special characteristics of vocational education and the characteristics of secondary school students,the teaching design principles and strategies of GBL teaching method applied to drone practical training class are proposed in a targeted manner,and the optimisation strategies are formulated with the teaching feedback,in order to provide guidance and help for the teaching of secondary vocational education. |
