The urban waterfront park is an important part of the urban green space system and an important resource for urban development and construction. It plays an important and active role in improving the quality of the urban environment, enriching the urban landscape, and developing the urban social economy. However, urban waterfront parks are also ecologically sensitive and fragile areas.Unreasonable land use and intensity and unreasonable landscape design will lead to uncoordinated landscape elements of urban waterfront parks, reduction of landscape ecological functions, and even deterioration of urban waterfront environment. With the rapid advancement of urbanization,a large number of urban waterfront parks have been planned and designed, and their quality is uneven. The development of urban waterfront parks is facing severe challenges.Space syntax theory is widely used in the research of urban public space. It was first used in the analysis of architectural space.Through the continuous development and improvement of later generations,it also plays an increasingly important role in the research and analysis of garden space.Through mathematical topology Calculate, endow the research object with spatial attributes, and perform qualitative analysis on its data. The introduction of spatial grammar theory into the research of urban waterfront parks makes the research results more scientific and objective, and has certain guiding significance for the development of urban waterfront parks. This paper takes Zhengzhou Sculpture Park,Beilong Lake Wetland Park and Tianjian Lake Park as the research objects, obtains waterfront park data through field investigation and unmanned aerial photography, and introduces spatial syntax theory and methods to analyze the three waterfront parks. The research is mainly carried out from the following aspects:1.The research methods and theories are sorted out according to the research content, and the current research status at home and abroad is clarified.2.Analyze related theories and research methods, and explore the feasibility of space syntax theory in urban waterfront parks.3.Analyze the current situation of urban waterfront parks, and explore the advantages and disadvantages of the parks from different angles for each landscape node.4.Using the axis analysis method, analyze the three waterfront parks from the aspects of integration, selection and comprehensibility, and obtain the accessibility of Beilong Lake Wetland Park(1.16)>Sculpture Park(1.01)>Tianjian Lake Park(0.77),attraction Tianjian Lake Park(179112)>Sculpture Park(106053)>Beilong Lake Wetland Park(75590);Comprehensibility Sculpture Park(0.747959)>Beilong Lake Wetland Park(0.722207)>Tianjian Lake Park(0.475758).5.Using the VGA line-of-sight analysis method, select three analysis indicators of connection value, control value and average line-of-sight depth value, and compare and analyze the feasible and visible layers of the three waterfront parks to obtain the visible level of the waterfront park. The spatial permeability of the visible layer is higher than that of the feasible layer, the sight area of the visible layer is basically the same as that of the feasible layer, and the accessibility of the feasible layer is higher than that of the visible layer. At the same time, the value of sight integration is used to analyze the important nodes and water surface of the waterfront park.,Compare the results of quantitative analysis and on-site investigation. The paper finally summarized the analysis results of the two methods, put forward the advantages and disadvantages of urban waterfront parks in the spatial layout, and proposed optimization suggestions. At the same time, the limitations of the research and the space syntax theory in the urban waterfront parks are discussed.Prospects for future development are made.
