Urban waterfront linear green space is a distinctive component in urban green space system.Its natural forms of linear assume the function of the urban ecological corridor,and also become the node in the urban green space system and connection between point and point and bridge between each other.At the same time,it has good ecological and cultural benefits.In terms of spatial connectivity,the coastal strip green space can be used as the urban green corridor,connecting the park green space and ensuring the continuity and integrity of the urban green space system.On the ecological protection,there is no substitute for the function of water conservation of the city.In land-scarce city,urban waterfront banded space creates conditions for the general public.Citizens in the work can be in a natural environment to develop all kinds of recreation and fitness activities.In urban waterfront zonal greenbelt cases,the space design and connections of Qiandenghu Park and Shenzhenwan Park,has the obvious advantage and characteristic.In different types and different scale to the size of the urban waterfront zonal greenbelt,both of them have certain representativeness.Therefore,the case study and research on these two parks has a certain guiding significance to the maintenance and management of the construction of the urban waterfront linear green space.In the field of traditional space research,there is a shortage of effective quantitative methods and methods.In the 1960 s,space syntax theory was born.The theory is developed and spread by Professor Bill Hillier of the University of London and in the joint efforts of scholars.Under the guidance of theory of space syntax,using mathematical method,and through the method of topology and the concept of differential and integral calculus,we can obtain some quantitative analysis and conclusion on urban public space,which has been supported by data.In this way,space research can be scientific and convincing.Based on the specific conditions of the site survey of Qiandenghu Park and Shenzhenwan Park for many times respectively,the adaptability of space syntax theory and method are discussed.And it has been clear about the specific research methods;Through the axis and visual analysis and so on,Qiandenghu Park and Shenzhenwan Park are quantified with the spatial layout and discussed on the integration of spatial model and space parameters,such as selectivity characteristics;According to the results of the above analysis,the author summarized the space layout characteristics of Qiandenghu Park and the Shenzhenwan Park as a representative of the two kinds of urban waterfront linear green space.And the contrast research on the results of the analysis of the above two parks,discusses the differences of both on the spatial layout,obtaining the characteristics by Qiandenghu Park lake,as well as the Shenzhenwan Park;Finally,based on the space syntax theory and the results of case analysis and research,the characteristics and the development trend of urban waterfront linear green space planning and design can be summed up.This papper summarizes and illustrates the problems and corresponding solutions of spatial syntactic theory applied to the research on urban waterfront.This study on urban waterfront linear green space provides a certain reference value for the future construction.Besides,there is an extension to the space syntax theory field and scope of practical application.
