| Emerging engineering education construction is a new direction of engineering education reform in China under the vigorous development of new economy,a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform,which brings new development opportunities and greater challenges to the cultivating of engineering talents in China.This research analyzes the status quo of domestic and foreign research from the aspects of engineering education paradigm change,emerging engineering education construction and curriculum construction in universities superior in engineering education,focusing on the overall situation,theoretical research and practical path of new engineering construction,combing the existing literature,and discovering that curriculum construction,the key link in the talents cultivating,is the weak link in the current emerging engineering education research and it needs to be improved.Therefore,this paper focuses on "How to develop courses scientifically and effectively in universities superior in engineering education under the emerging engineering education background?" Based on the background of emerging engineering education construction,this paper mainly discusses the problems and countermeasures of curriculum construction in universities superior in engineering education.First of all,based on the "Target mode of Taylor’s curriculum design" as the theoretical basis,this paper constructs an analysis framework of curriculum construction throughout the whole paper from four aspects,namely,the determination of curriculum objectives,the organization of curriculum content,the process of curriculum implementation and the selection of curriculum evaluation,centering on the four basic problems of Taylor’s principle.Secondly,on the basis of the new curriculum construction engineering talent core accomplishment and the theory of knowledge,the construction conforms to the technical advantages of colleges and universities under the new engineering background of this study of the current situation of the construction of course questionnaire,for students,teachers and enterprises,and teacher interviews,to different main body different opinions on this issue.Through the investigation and research of the current situation of curriculum construction,it is found that there are the following problems in the curriculum construction of universities with engineering advantages:1.Different subjects have different understandings of core literacy,and the achievement degree of curriculum goals is not high.2.The adjustment of curriculum proportion and professional knowledge is not timely,and the integration of curriculum content is not deep.3.Traditional teaching and disciplinary logic are the main teaching methods,and the implementation of courses is not practical enough.4.The assessment focuses on teaching effect and summative evaluation,and the course evaluation is not systematic enough.Finally,this research selects excellent cases of curriculum construction in six engineering superior universities in the United States,including Massachusetts Institute of Technology,Olin Institute of Technology,and Purdue University,and my country’s Tianjin University,University of Electronic Science and Technology and South China University of Technology.In the engineering education reform and the construction of new engineering disciplines,especially the educational concepts and beneficial measures in curriculum construction,the research has drawn the following four conclusions through comparison:First of all,they have formulated curriculum goals that are future-oriented and consistent with the core literacy of talents;second,they have formed a dynamically adjusted module structure and cross-integrated curriculum content;third,they have adopted a multi-party collaborative education,engineering practice project-style curriculum Implementation;Fourth,they established a curriculum evaluation centered on students and focused on formative evaluation.On the basis of the above research,in order to further improve the curriculum construction of universities superior in engineering education and improve the level of emerging engineering education curriculum construction,this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the four aspects of curriculum objective,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.Specific Suggestions include:the course objectives should meet the requirements of talents’ core qualities and improve the degree of achievement;The course content should reflect the cross integration and module structure to deepen the degree of integration;The course implementation should strengthen the practical link of engineering project and strengthen the practicality;Curriculum evaluation should pay attention to the formation and the role of students to improve the system. |
