As we all know,high-speed rail is a science and technology that has changed the traditional transportation pattern,and it makes the regional social and economic further change,which has been affected by the rapid development of transportation.The higher the level of transportation,the faster the regional exchanges and cooperation,the better the economic and financial development;similarly,the better the economic and financial development,there will be more government infrastructure investment in the field of transportation,the two complement each other and promote each other.This paper takes the centrality of high-speed rail network structure as the explanatory variable,and the economic growth and financial development of cities along the high-speed rail in China as the explanatory variable.It empirically studies the impact of the centrality of high-speed rail network structure on the economic growth and financial development of cities along the high-speed rail in China,and puts forward relevant policy suggestions.Through the introduction and literature review,this paper introduces the research background of choosing high-speed rail network structure centrality as the topic,and the research ideas and methods of this paper.Then it analyzes the development situation and necessity of high-speed rail theoretically;then it analyzes the economic effect of high-speed rail,which can be subdivided into the effect of urbanization,economic agglomeration,diffusion and siphon;finally,it analyzes the high-speed rail The direct and indirect impact of the opening of the railway on economic growth and financial development.In the process of theoretical analysis,with the help of the icon to explain the current situation of China’s transportation industry and the development of high-speed rail,vividly explain the necessity and urgency of developing high-speed rail.The empirical part studies the influence of high-speed rail network structure centrality on the economic growth,economic structure and financial scale of cities along the line.According to the national standards of 2008-2018 Based on the panel data of 2008,the paper takes the centrality of high-speed rail network structure as the explanatory variable,the real GDP per capita,the real GDP growth and the GDP growth rate as the explanatory variable of economic growth,the proportion of the output value of three industries in GDP as the explanatory variable of economic structure,and the proportion of the total deposit and loan of financial institutions in GDP as the explanatory variable of financial scale.Through the empirical study,it is concluded that the centrality of high-speed rail network structure significantly improves the per capita real GDP and real GDP growth,that is,the opening of high-speed rail is conducive to economic growth.The centrality of high-speed rail network structure significantly improves the output value of the tertiary industry,that is,the opening of high-speed rail is conducive to the development of the tertiary industry.The centrality of high-speed rail network structure significantly reduces the financial scale,that is,the opening of high-speed rail is not conducive to the development of finance.Under the background of economic globalization,the economic development of all countries is closely related,while the global economic development trend is slowing down,and the development of domestic situation is unbalanced between regions.It is suggested to improve the high-speed rail construction from the following three aspects:first,continue to strengthen the high-speed rail network construction planning,and gradually improve the high-speed rail network;second,improve the industrial structure,and balance the development of the first,second,and third industries Third,accelerate innovation to promote the intelligent development of high-speed railway.
