| Railway piggyback transport refers to the transportation method of placing road freight vehicles with goods on railway wagons for transportation,which can meet the door-to-door cargo transport and belongs to the category of multimodal transport.Railway piggyback transport can not only make the utmost of the advantages of safe,efficient,energy-saving and environmental protection,green and low-carbon,largecapacity,and all-weather in railway transportation,but also can take full advantage of convenience,flexibility and the door-to-door transportation in road transportation.Railway piggyback transport is one of the organizational forms of multimodal transport and door-to-door transportation in developed countries,such as Europe and America.It plays an important role in their comprehensive transportation systems.China railway learns the experience of European and American countries to carry out piggyback transport,which is conducive to optimize and adjust transport structure,improve transportation organization efficiency,enrich railway freight products,and improve railway door-to-door transportation services.It is of great significance to solve the traffic accidents,road congestion and environmental pollution caused by a large number of longdistance road freight transport.In this context,based on the research project of "Market research on goods source of piggyback transport" of the state railway administration,this thesis studies the main transport network of the piggyback transport,and puts forward the development strategies of management,which lay the foundation for the carrying out piggyback transport in China.Firstly,the thesis explains the background and research significance of the topic,summaries the research status of piggyback transport and network design,introduces the development status of piggyback transport at home and abroad,and puts forward the research objectives and routes of this paper.Secondly,this thesis summarizes the relevant theories of piggyback transport,and analyzes the market positioning,distribution of goods sources and organization forms of piggyback transport in China,then,analyzes the necessity of carrying out piggyback transport in China’s railway from energy saving,environmental protection and safety.Next,after defining the market position,the paper forecasts the volume of source of goods that is suitable for piggyback transport,establishes the share rate model of the volume of high value-added goods on the piggyback transport,and obtains high value-added cargo volume suitable for piggyback transport between the starting point and the destination point,and the reasonable transport distance between railway stations.Considering the interests of highway logistics enterprises and railway transport enterprises,this paper designs the piggyback transport network.After fully analyzing the effects of different factors on the network,the thesis establishes the optimization design model of the transportation hub layout and the planning of the transportation channel of the piggyback in the road-piggyback transportation network,and designs the tabu search algorithm to solve it.Next,taking the cities as an example,where 18 railway container center stations are located,the case is analyzed.At the same time,the case verifies the rationality and effectiveness of the model and algorithm.Then,the process technology of the loading and unloading station of the piggyback transport is studied.Finally,the paper studies business management issues that inclued business model and price scheme formulation of carrying out the piggyback transport in China,and puts forward the corresponding scheme and suggestions.Through the research of this paper,it is very necessary to develop railway piggyback transport in China.The high value-added goods of long-distance road transport should be used as the source of goods for piggyback transport.Train operation should be adopted as transport organization mode,and train transport distance from station to station shall be more than 1000 km.For piggyback transport network,it should be composed of cities and transportation between cities,which cities have developed economy and strong demand for goods transport.In terms of operation mode,it is suggested to adopt the carrier operator or highway logistics company contracting.For the price scheme,the price can be appropriately floated down on the basis of the vehicle No.6 freight rate or 40 ft container markup freight rate,so that the price of piggyback transport can be competitive. |
