Design And Development Of Demand-Oriented Railway Freight Transport Information Management System

In June 15,2013, China Railway Corporation has implemented the reform of freight transportation for the innovation of transportation organization, simplifying the accepting way of freight transportation and building the freight transportation charge standard. It aims to realize the transformation of railway transport organization orientation from internal throughout to market. It also aims to establish the railway production and management system, meeting the needs of market economy. With the reform of railway freight transport deepened, problems about business process optimization, adjustment of organization structure and information construction should be solved immediately.Firstly, this thesis has researched on the optimization of railway freight transport. In the aspect of railway freight organizational structure, this thesis has put forward an adjustment program and established an organizational structure mode which can be likened to a mode of "front store and back factory" according to the thought of building a freight marketing center in the level of station and depot. The business scope of "front store" and "back factory" has been defied, and the business scope of each department of marketing center has also been analyzed as a focal point. In the aspect of business process optimization, this thesis has prominently researches the improvement method for the process of cargo accepting, loading and unloading, and transportation, of which, the main principle is the coordination between marketing and production, the means are the interconnection of production post information and the timely collection and delivery of operating procedures information, and the objective is to guarantee the communication and cooperation between each production post and the closely connection of each operating procedure, and finally realize the cargo’s rapid circulation. On the basic of that, this thesis has analyzed the formulate method of demand-oriented transportation plan, and put forward programming approach which is based on the freight marketing and product development.Secondly, based on the research towards the freight organization optimization, this thesis has analyzed the demand-oriented design requirements and objectives of railway freight information management system, and then proposed the design requirements of freight information management system which matches freight organization optimization at the aspects of freight production process management, capacity resources management, operating progress tracking, operating informatization and information circulation. The following, this thesis has analyzed the system’s demand and mode of sharing information with external system.Finally, this thesis has carried on a system overall design, established a system function structure, completed a database structure design and realized a system primary development. At present, the system has simply realized partial functions of capacity resources management, loading and unloading process management and wagons delivery management. In addition, the system has realized the functions of operating information collection, operating progress tracking, capacity resources using condition inquiry and freight production business management. On the basic of that, the system this thesis designed could provide a guarantee of the information sharing and cooperation between different production and operating posts, the closely connection between different operating and technical support to realize the cargo’s rapid circulation.
