Research On Space Environment Design Of Senior Apartment Based On Positive Psychology

Today’s China is the country with the largest population in the world,and also the country with the most serious aging trend.In the future,the proportion of the elderly will be larger and larger,which will also bring a series of pension problems,which has become a heavy burden of social development,and is related to harmonious and stable social problems.The core of the pension problem is the living of the elderly.How to make the elderly have a healthy living environment in their old age is a very important problem.Through the study of domestic and foreign pension policies,pension models and cases,we can find that China’s aging situation is different from that of foreign countries,China’s current economic development level is not high,and pension facilities are not perfect.But in many old-age facilities,the old-age apartment is a special existence,different from the general residential buildings,but also different from the traditional old-age homes.With the improvement of the elderly’s demand for happiness in their later life,the elderly apartments not only meet the future pension policy of our country,but also meet the needs of the elderly.The existing apartment design for the elderly in China is based on the accessibility facilities and medical care for the elderly,less from the perspective of psychological feelings of the elderly,and less attention to the implication and auxiliary role of space environment design.In foreign countries,the design of the space environment of the apartment for the aged pays more attention to the details and the suitable aging design,and pays more attention to the psychological needs and emotional release of the aged.Starting from the psychological and behavioral needs of the elderly,based on the core content of positive psychology,combined with positive experience,positive personal characteristics and positive social environment,this paper designs and practices the spatial environment of the elderly apartment.Through the analysis of the physical,psychological and behavioral performance and characteristics of the elderly,we can design a real living space environment suitable for the elderly.Taking the vertical forest as the design inspiration,the elderly can get the happiness of their old life through the active space of the apartment,improve the living environment quality of the apartment for the elderly,and provide new ideas and references for the future apartment design for the elderly.
