In the current society,the requirements for railway transportation tend to be more rapid and convenient,busy trunk line of national electrified ordinary-speed railway is constantly transformed to speed up,and high-speed railway is also under construction to increase geographic penetration,which is to satisfy market as much as possible.Electrified railway transportation is a whole that is linked by multi-units,such as locomotive,car service,public works,power supply,electrical service,vehicles and so on.No matter which equipment fails,it will affect the entire transportation,so that causing huge economic losses and adverse social impacts.As one of the important equipments of electrified railway transportation,the catenary carries electric energy of traction locomotive.It seems simple but it is complicated.As the catenary is an open-air device,there is no spare device,and its structure is complex,it can withstand bow-net vibration and high-frequency high-voltage for a long time.Therefore,it is not only easily affected by external factors,but also its parts easily burned and fatigued which resulting in device failure,so that caused the locomotive parking and the railway shutdown.This article selects faults that occurred during on-site operation and maintenance of electrified ordinary and high-speed railways within the jurisdiction of the Zhengzhou Railway Bureau,and combines them with equipment failures of the entire power supply system in 2018.Three typical cases of broken strings and insulation flashovers were studied.The current distribution of multiple strands of the catenary,the suspension string vibrations caused by bonnets,and the insulator flashover mechanism were preliminarily studied.Starting from equipment operation and management,based on his 6-year management experience in front-line contact networks,he summarized the causes of the failures and formulated measures.In the study of electrical burn-out faults,the electrical parameters of the multi-lane track on the contact site were calculated,and an equivalent circuit model was established.The current distribution was simulated using Matlab/Simulink simulation software,and the results were consistent with field measure.Three methods have been put forward,including electrical connection method,shunt method,and simulation verification of shunt method.In the study of the broken string,the principle of fatigue vibration was preliminarily analyzed.Based on the comparison of field failure data,the standards for fine-tuning and fine-tuning inspection and differentiated management opinions were put forward.In the study of insulation flashover,the flashover generation mechanism was pointed out.Based on the field equipment,the unreasonable design of the installation position and construction level of the contact jumper under the direct supply and reflow method was proposed,which accelerated the time of the flashover.The transformation criteria are given.
