In recent years,the railway industry in China has been greatly developed,and the research and construction of the high-speed electrified railway are now in a high tide,the demand for the safe operation of the electrified railway has attracted more and more concern.The key points of the safe and stable operation of the electrified railway is to ensure the stability of the operation of the electrical equipment and the stability of the current-collection.The train receives electric power through the directly contact between the pantograph and the catenary,so ensuring good contact between the pantograph and the catenary is the basis for ensuring good current-collection.With the rapid development of the high-speed railway industry,the train speed has increased greatly,the interaction between the pantograph and the catenary is more intense and the dynamic performance is more unstable when the train runs.The unstable contact will reduce the quality of current-collection,lead to waste of electric.Or it may produce offline arc,the arc fault will damage the material of the pantograph and the catenary,cause fire,lead to the withdrawal of train,even jeopardize the safety of the personnel.Therefore,the research on the dynamic performance between the pantograph and the catenary can provide the theoretical basis for improving the current-collection of the train,can guarantee the safe operation of electrified railway.In this paper,the following aspects of the dynamic performance between the pantograph and the catenary are studied:1.A finite element model of catenary in one tension length is built by the finite element simulation software.And using the software to simulate and analyze the initial state of the contact suspension in one tension length from the aspects of the mode,the initial vibration frequency and the elasticity.2.Based on the two-element pantograph model and the simple catenary model,the coupling system of the pantograph and the catenary is constructed.The differential equations of the pantograph motion and the catenary are combined to construct the differential equations of the motion of the whole coupling system.Using computer software to compile program which is based on numerical analysis algorithm to solve the differential equations,several main indexes to evaluate the dynamic performance of the pantograph-catenary are obtained.3.The influence of the changes of certain component's parameter values in the coupling system on the overall dynamic performance has been discussed.From the angle of active control of the pantograph,several methods to improve the dynamic performance and stability of the pantograph-catenary coupling system are given.
