Electrified railway traffic throughout a wide range, has an important role in the development of the national economy. The harsh natural environment will cause catenary icing and this will impede the normal power supply of electrified railway. Serious iced catenary will probably cause pillars collapsed. DC thawing or mechanical de-icing will cause traffic interruption. Under the premise of the lines the normal operation, online anti-icing which is a good way to solve the catenary Icing can prevent the line icing by increasing the catenary flowing current. By studying the line Surface heat balance equation, the paper calculated catenary current of anti-icing and conducted the anti-icing program simulation, which guarantee electrified railway catenary from icing disaster.The shape of the contact line approximately regarded as a cylindrical shape, by studying droplet collision rate, capture rate, freezing rate, the contact line heat item expressions and other parameters of the calculation, the anti-icing mathematical model of the contact line is established. In assuming specific Icing natural conditions, considered the catenary diversion effect, the value of catenary anti-icing current is calculated. And anti-icing current is calculated to ensure the current value meets the online requirements.The mathematical models of the Contact line Icing and Melting ice are established. In a specific natural environment contrast the resulting ice cover using this article Icing mathematical model and ice cover calculated by other model and the result shows the model is right. Energy consumption and the required power capacity, intermittent driving time and economic losses of anti-icing methods and melting ice methods were calculated in different weather conditions, and the result of the calculation maybe give advice to decide which program to take.Paper studyed the principle of SVG-based the catenary line anti-icing program in detail. The working principle of SVG, SVG main circuit parameters design, and the matlab/simulink simulation modeling were completed to study the current and voltage of the catenary, which verify the feasibility of the program.To save equipment investment, thesis puts forward and simulated TSC+SVG contact line anti-ice programs, and simulation results show that the TSC effectively reduce the SVG capacity. So the program is feasible. At the same time to achieve anti-icing and energy quality of governance, based on the co-phase power supply technology, the anti-icing program was put forward and the simulation results show that the programs had a good effect on the negative sequence and harmonic control, and at the same time can achieve the catenary online anti-icing.
