The Reconstruction Design Of Waterfront Plaza In Old District Of Mountainous City

China is a country with a large number of rivers and cities built along the river.Because water plays an important role in improving the climate environment and beautifying the living space,the city Waterfront Square has become an important place for people to relax,enjoy and communicate.The important place of flow has also become the most attractive place in the urban landscape.However,due to the early construction of many urban waterfront plazas,a series of serious problems have emerged,such as the facilities are not matched,the functions are not satisfied,the traffic jams,and the landscape environment deterioration,which is particularly obvious in the old urban areas.The formation of the waterfront plaza in the old city of mountainous city is the result of the interaction of complex geomorphologic environment and diverse cultural connotations.Long time before the plaza was formed,the area contained a great deal of historical information and material essence of material form.After the square was formed,as a few public activity spaces in the old city area,it was very popular with the surrounding residents.But it also leads to the serious damage of the waterfront square landscape.The original homogenization design is increasingly difficult to meet the more refined and humanized use needs of the surrounding residents.Therefore,how to keep the traditional culture of mountain city,explore the local cultural connotation,grasp the demands of the crowd,reconstruct the waterfront square of the old city area of mountain city,and re activate the vitality of the waterfront square of the old city area has become an urgent problem in the process of urbanization of mountain area.This paper is divided into six chapters.In the first chapter,the background,purpose and significance of the research are described,and the related concepts are defined.By consulting a large number of literature,the research status of waterfront square in mountain cities at home and abroad is summarized.On this basis,the research methods and framework are defined.The second chapter summarizes the development,types,landscape characteristics,cultural connotation and other basic characteristics of waterfront square in mountain cities through literature reading and field investigation.The third chapter summarizes the existing problems of waterfront square in the old urban area of Mountainous City,which is divided into system level,node level and element level,and analyzes the relevant design cases.The fourth chapter is mainly about the transformation design strategy,establishin g the objectives and principles of the transformation design.From three aspects,the paper puts forward the transformation design strategy of the waterfront square in the old urban area.The fifth chapter takes the actual project of the waterfront plaza reconstruction design in Xuanhan County,Sichuan Province as an example to verify the transformation design strategy.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the article,summarizing and reflecting the research results and shortcomings.
