Urban Design Research On Preservation Of Historical Relics And Cultural Inheritance In Urban Waterfront Area

The thesis is derived from the urban design practice of "Shaoxing · Shangyu Dongguan Ancient Canal waterfront Area",which the author participated in with his supervisor.This paper takes the urban design research on the protection and cultural inheritance of historical relics in urban waterfront areas as the starting point,and pays attention to the problem that the current historical relics emphasize historical witness and light protection and inheritance,and thus launches the discussion on the thesis proposition.Under the guidance of urban design ideas and methods,this paper applies the theories of historical and cultural heritage protection and inheritance and urban renewal,and combines two relevant practice cases of "Shanghai Suzhou River Waterfront Historic Area" and "Changzhou Qingguoxiang Waterfront Historic Block".This paper discusses the basic concepts,principles,design methods and technical routes of urban design for the protection of historical relics and cultural inheritance in urban waterfront areas,and takes "Urban design of the ancient Canal waterfront area of Shaoxing and Shangyu" as an empirical study.The basic conclusions are as follows:(1)Urban design of historical heritage protection and cultural inheritance in urban waterfront areas should,on the basis of highlighting historical witness,rely on current historical resources,construct the overall space,excavate and refine historical and cultural elements,and carry out urban design practice from the perspectives of historical witness and cultural inheritance.Its overall goal is to devote to the preservation and inheritance of historical culture,to shape the characteristics of the town,and to build an urban window that shows the vitality of the waterfront image and the historical context of the city.(2)The urban design of historical heritage protection and cultural inheritance in urban waterfront areas should be based on the integration of architecture,planning and landscape,and follow the basic principles of the overall protection of historical heritage and cultural inheritance,tourism cultural image media,and "cultural and artistic aesthetics".(3)Under the leadership and integration of urban design,urban design methods and technical routes for the protection of historical relics and cultural inheritance in urban waterfront areas should carry out a location-space survey and grasp the correlation and hierarchy of the location-space relationship between the location subject and the location space.From the overall design of the design lot space,the protection and renewal design of the historical relic space,the cultural inheritance design,the design of the cultural image media of the design lot space,the protection of the historical witness space and the design of the cultural inheritance form space of the urban waterfront area.Figure [68] Table [2] reference [67]...
