Research On The Design Of Communication Space Of Public Library Based On Community Service

In the past many years,the library seems to be the product of real world morality.It is a public place set up for carrying out "good" and "meaningful" activities.This also affects people’s understanding of the library.Most social groups think that the library is a place for borrowing,not for social activities.With the advent of the information age,the carrier of knowledge and culture communication has gradually changed from traditional paper to more abundant paperless multimedia.People can easily find the information they want on social networks.Compared with the library,its sense of participation,interaction and service are stronger,which makes the public library show a disadvantage in community service and interaction,and the public library begins to lack visitors gradually.In order to solve the problems existing in the current public library,architects also have many rich attempts and explorations on the creation of library architecture.Based on the concept of "community service",this paper interprets the relationship between communication space and community service in public library.By summarizing the various communities in the public library and their different needs for spatial structure and perception,this paper uses the spatial theory of communication space and the theory of near physical science to study the spatial form and scale of different activities and behaviors of communities.On the basis of this study,this paper puts forward the design principles of human-oriented,open and beautiful public library communication space under the background of community service,combining with the excellent public library building cases at home and abroad.And from the three aspects of space integration,scale humanization and function polysemy of the internal communication space of the public library,this paper puts forward the design strategy of the internal communication space serving the community.It also discusses how to create an external communication space with place significance for the city and the community from three aspects: responding to the city context,connecting the city space and sharing the external space.Finally,taking the design of Jingshan library as an example,this paper applies the design strategy of communication space in the context of community service to practice,and summarizes the research conclusions.How to build a popular community city living room for the Public Library under the background of community service is explored.
