Research On The Design Of Public Library Interaction Space From The Perspective Of Phenomenology

The public library has been an important type of cultural building since ancient times,carrying the crystallization of human civilization in different media.With the arrival of the information age,the architectural form of public libraries has undergone tremendous changes.This has also led to the gradual emergence of non-traditional public library construction behaviors and functions in library buildings.On the one hand,these changes are due to the development of information technology.On the one hand,they are caused by people’s desire for multiple experiences in space.Therefore,from the traditional public library space,a new public library architectural communication space based on people’s behavior interaction and functional compound mode has been derived.However,the communication space is often not valued in the design process.The functionalist supremacy design model leads to space without characteristics or blind pursuit of space modeling,and space therefore loses the possibility that people are willing to learn in this interaction.The greatest advantage of phenomenology in the field of architecture lies in the complete emphasis on human perception and recognition of the architectural space.This provides us with a new perspective on architectural design and thinking of architectural space.Therefore,starting from the phenomenological point of view,rethinking the design of public library interaction space can provide us with more inspiration and design ideas.Based on the theoretical basis of phenomenology,this dissertation analyzes the public library communication space from the perspective of phenomenology.The article first studies phenomenological theory,mainly from two perspectives of location phenomenology and perceptual phenomenology.Secondly,it seeks the design principle and development trend of communication space through the study of the public library’s communication space.Through associative interpretation through phenomenological theory,three spatial design goals are formed,namely,the spatial dimension is rich and varied,the spatial relationship is intertwined,and the spatial experience is rich.Under the guidance of two phenomenological branch phenomenological phenomenology and perceptual phenomenology theory and practice under the theme of phenomenology,the communicative space design tactics of public libraries are summarized,and finally the public library guided by the theory of architectural phenomenology is constructed.Practically understanding the design method of phenomenology in library building communication space.
