Nowadays,the cultivation mode of colleges and universities divides the disciplines,and the teaching methods and research methods are singular and segregated.It has been unable to adapt and solve many complicated Wicked Problems in today’s society,and it has become one of the complex and sinister problems.At the same time,the urbanization process has provided a powerful impetus for the development of urban communities,but it has also led to the occurrence of many current social problems,such as alienation of interpersonal relationships;increased natural ecological damage;inconvenience caused by community space,weakened community identity and participation,etc..Faced with the above difficulties and difficulties,people pay more and more attention to their surrounding living environment,while thinking about their ability and value to play and realize,and actively explore the corresponding solutions.Therefore,many social innovations will follow.The involvement of colleges and universities in the transformation of public space in the community is one of the more prominent new services.The participation of colleges and universities in the transformation of public space in the community links the university and the community,and links the knowledge talent resources of the university with the community issues,which not only promotes the construction of the global flexible network,but also the sustainable development of the economy and system,and enhances the living environment of urban residents.And quality of life.However,the current college participation community is still a new thing in China,and different service models present different forms of services and features.The participation of colleges and universities in the community public space transformation service should be built in the social system,the university system,and the residents’ life.Through the service to meet the needs of users and stakeholders,and to enhance the degree of mutual construction between community residents and universities,it is still necessary to adopt certain design interventions.And innovative methods to build a community public space transformation service that meets the needs of social development,meets the needs of residents,and can be replicated and expanded.Based on the current social background of promoting social governance innovation in China,through the use of the concept and method of service design,we explore new types of colleges and universities that are more reasonable and effective and meet the needs of society,participate in the community public space transformation service model,and draw new research institutions through research and analysis.The development ideas and specific design strategies of community public space transformation.The research method adopted in this topic: through studying related literatures and research related cases,it is concluded that colleges and universities participate in community service innovation service mode and focus on innovation process.By exploring the relationship between community construction and regional development,the university’s involvement in community service is divided into three stages: community building-place creation-sustainable innovation.Through the relevant theoretical research on colleges and universities participating in community,community public space transformation,service design,and the current status of existing colleges and universities participating in community public space transformation services,it is determined that service design involves four levels of university participation in community public space transformation,namely community construction.Relationship level,place creation-project level,sustainable development-scale expansion level,service system design-service experience level.After a series of field case studies,user interviews,service builder interviews,project field observations and other methods to collect information and data,the previous direction was verified.And through combing the four levels of problems and opportunities,the auxiliary core theory is designed to output the design strategy for colleges and universities to participate in the community public space transformation service design.Therefore,based on the combination of theory and practice,this study proposes a situational paradigm and design guidance for the design intervention of colleges and universities participating in community public space transformation.
