Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the number of people in the world has been increasing,and the rapid development of the economy has increased the use of traditional energy.This has led to a sharp decline in traditional energy reserves,global warming and ecological deterioration.Countries are beginning to focus their attention on new energy markets with low cost,low pollution,and renewable energy.The new energy industry is ushering in new opportunities in its development.Innovation ability is the core strength of a company’s economic development.The strength of innovation ability is mainly reflected in the level of innovation efficiency.Therefore,the research on the level of technological innovation efficiency of new energy enterprises and the research on the change trend of technological innovation efficiency differences among companies within the industry have practical significance.Firstly,the article reviews the literature on the convergence of technological innovation efficiency at home and abroad,and on this basis,sorts out the research structure and theoretical framework of this article.Secondly,the core concepts needed in the research of this paper: the convergence of new energy companies and technological innovation efficiency are defined;the innovation efficiency theory and the basis of convergence theory are clearly described.Again,using 78 new energy listed companies in my country as a sample,through the construction of a non-radial,non-angle DEA-RAM model,its technological innovation efficiency was measured.Then,the technological innovation efficiency of 78 new energy companies is sequentially tested for delta convergence,absolute beta convergence,and conditional beta convergence.Finally,according to the research results,the corresponding management enlightenment is drawn.Empirical research results show that: the overall level of technological innovation efficiency of new energy companies is not high,and there is still much room for development;the new energy enterprises in the country and the east,the technological innovation efficiency δ convergence is not significant,but there is absolute β convergence and conditions Beta convergence.In addition,the scale of enterprises and regional knowledge stock will have a significant effect on the actual growth rate of technological innovation efficiency of new energy companies,while the concentration of equity will have a significant negative impact;for new energy companies in the central region,technological innovation efficiency δ convergence and The absolute β convergence is not significant,while the conditional βconvergence is significant.However,the scale of the enterprise,the concentration of equity and the regional knowledge stock have no significant impact on the technological innovation efficiency of new energy companies in the central region;the δ,absolute β and conditional β convergence of new energy companies in the western region are not significant.Finally,the article believes that the actual growth rate of technological innovation efficiency should be improved from four aspects: suppressing overcapacity of new energy companies,appropriately increasing the scale of new energy companies,optimizing the concentration of equity in new energy companies,and focusing on the cultivation of innovative talents in the new energy industry.Technological innovation efficiency is developing steadily.
