The R&D Process Design Based On IPD Model And The Research Of Implementation Policy For P Commany

With the fierce market competition and the rapid development of information technology,the upgrading of communications equipment products continues to accelerate,and customer needs are more and more diversified.In this case,a great challenge come to the company’s new product development.There are a lot of serious problems in P company,such as difficult to identify customer needs,out of control of the market time,product quality instability and other issues,leading to lack of product competitiveness in the market competition at a disadvantage,because it still uses PDCA serialized development model.Therefore,this paper introduces the concept of Integrated Development Model(IPD),combines the characteristics of P company’s R&D process,designs the overall program of P company’s R&D process based on IPD,and details the key demand process,and evaluates the implementation effect of the design scheme.Work includes:Firstly,this paper analyzes the mainstream of new product development theory such as SGS,PACE,PVM,IPD and so on.P company is in communication equipment manufacturing industry with rapid technology upgrading and high R&D investment.This paper also demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of P company adopting the mainstream "Integrated Product Development" model(IPD).Secondly,this paper proposes a IPD detailed design scheme of C switch,from the offering request sub-process to the product development sub-process,covering the whole process of C switch from customer needs research to product lanch and to the life cycle management,while the product development sub-process consists of six stages,including the concept,plan,development,verification,product lanch and life cycle.Thirdly,a detailed plan of improvement of core requirement process in the overall plan is given.,including the analysis of the out-of-control problem in offering request,and according to the P company status and IPD model,creatively propose "requirement point and requirement quota" system and assist P company to build RMS requirement management system.This "requirement point and requirement quota" system will make the requirement submitter think carefully before submitting the customer needs.No quota,no needs can be submitted,and high point,high priority response.If the submitter actively participate in requirment verification,he will get more points and quotas.This system also makes use of the limited development resources,high value of customer needs first,low value of customer needs last.So the whole process can be tracked effectively from customer needs collection,analysis to achieve,verification.Finally,this paper provides the implementation policy and assessment methods of IPD program of C switch.According to the problems of IPD program piloting,this paper studies the implementation policy from four aspects:high-level support,organizational structure,assessment criteria and process assurance,and gives three evaluation methods of the IPD program implementation effect with R&D cost,time to market and product quality.
