| The urban agglomeration with the largest economic scale and development potential in my country is the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration.Moreover,the layout of the urban agglomeration is also the most special.And there are both the "Beijing Economic Belt" and the "Beijing Poverty Belt".Furthermore,due to the major strategy of coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,it is now an important spatial carrier driving force behind my country’s economic development,helping to promote the pace of new urbanization.With years of development,several construction projects in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei achieved new results,but it has also brought unprecedented challenges: economic prosperity has brought about high resource consumption,industrial scale expansion and excessive industrial pollution.The ecological quality is decreasing day by day.Under this background,it is urgent to continuously strengthen the construction of ecological environment.Explore the laws of urbanization and ecological environment development,promote the construction of ecological civilization in the process of urbanization,and build the integrated development of ecology and economy of urban agglomerations.This paper selects the panel data of 13 cities in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei from2005 to 2019 to conduct quantitative research on new urbanization and ecological environment.First of all,a new comprehensive index evaluation system of urbanization covering the four dimensions of economy,society,population and space is constructed,and an ecological environment quality system is constructed according to the PSR model selection index.The entropy method is used to empower to measure the development level of new urbanization and ecological environment quality,and to carry out comprehensive evaluation and analysis of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from the two levels of time and space.Second,build a coupling coordination model to evaluate the level of coupling coordination,coordination type,and space-time characteristics of different stages over the 15 years of the urban cluster,and use Arcgis to map the spatial and tempora evolution of the coordination type.Finally,the function law of new urbanization on ecological environment quality is further studied by panel measurement model,the spatial correlation between urbanization and ecological environment is verified by Moran index,and the spatial spillover effect is decomposed by spatial Dubin model.Empirical evidence shows: there is a significant spatial correlation between the level of new urbanization and the quality of the ecological environment,and there are also significant factors affecting the quality of ecological environment in various control variables.Specifically: First,the variables were tested by the Moran index,that is,the ecological environment quality in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region showed the characteristics of high-concentration and low-concentration framework distribution.Second,the ecological environment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban cluster is reflected in the trend of inverted U-curve with the improvement of urbanization level,and the estimation results of the spatial Dubin model show that the new urbanization is the obvious reason for the decline of the ecological environment quality in the region and the improvement of the quality of the surrounding area,and the spatial spillover effect is obvious.Third,the direct and indirect effects of the various control variables in the spatial effect are mostly positive,the industrial structure and technical level will not only improve the level of ecological environment quality in the region but also improve the environmental quality of surrounding cities;Fourth,this paper studies the inverted U-curve relationship between economic development and environmental pollution,after urbanization has developed to a certain extent,the ecological environment quality will decrease with its development but the absolute value of the secondary coefficient is small,indicating the slow rate of ecological quality reduction,and some aspects show that the new urbanization level is rising faster than the rate of ecological quality decline,that is,the EKC hypothesis is not valid in this study.Finally,based on empirical results,the future urban development and ecological protection of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region put forward corresponding countermeasures. |
