The purpose of green development in the Yellow River Basin is to maintain ecological security and upgrade the quality of development.With the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization,problems such as imbalance of land use structure,shortage of water resources,excessive resource development and slow transformation of traditional industries in the Yellow River Basin,which possesses a large number resource-based cities in the Yellow River Basin,continue to appear.The contradiction between ecological security and steady economic rise has become increasingly prominent,resulting in unbalanced and insufficient development in all aspects of the basin.Cities along the Yellow River have high population activity and strong economic activity.The level of land resource utilization plays a fundamental role in urban scale,population carrying capacity,infrastructure planning,industrial spatial layout and ecological security,therefore,as the key points to realize the stable operation of ecosystem and the continuous improvement of the quality of economic development,the improvement of urban land green use efficiency(ULGUE)has practical significance for regional coordinated and sustainable development.Inspired by the green economy efficiency evaluation method,this paper incorporated ecological loss as a representation of undesired output into the traditional evaluation index system of land use efficiency,and measured the ULGUE of 53 prefecture-level cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2003 to 2018 with the help of the super-efficiency SBM model of undesired output.Based on this,kernel density estimation and spatial autocorrelation analysis were used to analyze its evolution characteristics from time and space perspectives.Furthermore,this paper identified the influencing factors of ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin by metrological model of space Durbin panel,and verified the influence strength of each factor and spatial differences between them on ULGUE by geographic detector model.The results showed that:(1)From the temporal dimension,the ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin had an obvious upward trend,and the divergence in ULGUE showed the tendency of expansion,and there was an obvious polarization pattern.Among them,the upstream city green land use efficiency value tendency appeared inverted "wavy" characteristics,differences between cities showed a trend of expansion;the middle city green land use efficiency value change trend had inverted "V" shape characteristics,differences between cities gradually narrowed;downstream of the ULGUE value tendency appeared "N" shape characteristic,to expand the reduced difference between the cities.(2)From the spatial dimension,the ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin showed a positive global spatial correlation,and the degree of spatial agglomeration showed a "wave" development characteristic,and the upper,middle and lower cities showed obviously different spatial agglomeration types: the ULGUE in the upper reaches changed from LL type to HH type,the ULGUE in the middle reaches mainly showed LL type,and the ULGUE in the lower reaches changed from HL type to LL type.(3)In this paper,11 indicators were selected from six dimensions of economy,society,ecology,policy,population and city scale,and the impact of these indicators on ULGUE y in the Yellow River Basin was tested with the help of metrological model of space Durbin panel.The empirical results showed that nine factors have a significant impact on the ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin: industrial structure,average wage of employed workers,population density,urbanization ratio,and proportion of urban construction land area had an adverse effect on the ULGUE;The level of foreign direct investment,per capita green area of park,pollutant treatment rate,science and education expenditure were positively correlated with the ULGUE.In addition,the above factors had a spatial spillover effect and had a significant impact on the surrounding cities.(4)Based on the test results of spatial Durbin panel econometric model,this paper explored the impact strength of nine factors on ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin from global and regional perspectives with the help of geographic detector model.From the global point of view,the factors that played a key role in ULGUE in the Yellow River Basin changed from economic dimension to population density factor in policy dimension and population dimension.From the regional point of view,the key influencing factors of ULGUE in upstream cities changed from ecological dimension and policy dimension to foreign direct investment level,city scale dimension,social dimension and population dimension in economic dimension;the key influencing factors of urban land green use efficiency in the middle reaches changed from policy dimension to foreign investment level in economic dimension,social dimension and per capita park green area in ecological dimension;the key influencing factors of ULGUE in downstream cities changed from ecological dimension to industrial structure upgrading in social dimension and economic dimension.(5)Based on the above research results and the actual development of the Yellow River Basin,this paper proposed the following suggestions to improve the ULGUE: for the sake of promote ULGUE,the Yellow River basin should comply with the concept of green development,change the idea of land use,realize the coordinated development of cities in the river basin,formulate development plans to enhance the competitiveness based on the characteristics of cities,scientific planning of land resources,improve the quality of urbanization to meet people’s needs for a better life,and enhance innovation capacity under the guidance of the high quality development strategy. |
