Project q Due to the more complex production process of new raw materials,the difficulty of chemical engineering design increases,the cost of engineering procurement and construction increases,and the whole project cycle becomes longer.Among them,the design link is the most complex and cumbersome,so it is necessary to engineer the complex process,ensure the strict implementation of national safety regulations and relevant industry regulations,and meet the requirements.For the owner’s consideration,reducing the project cost and design quality are directly related to the success of the project.Among all the specialties involved in the design,the process pipeline specialty has the widest coverage and the largest workload.It has a work interface with every other specialty.Whether the engineering design can be done well is closely related to the level and working attitude of the person in charge and designers of the process pipeline specialty.Therefore,in order to control the final quality of chemical engineering,process pipeline design is a very important part.This paper expounds the definition of quality and quality management and the significance of quality management in the survival of enterprises.Taking PDCA cycle and total quality management in the theory of quality management as the basic research methods,and taking statistical analysis table method and causality diagram method as the analysis tools,these methods and tools are understood and summarized combined with author’s experience.The evolution of process pipeline design department in the development of chemical design field in China is summarized,including the organization system and employee responsibility in general design enterprises,as well as the existing management mode.Go deep into each stage of process pipeline design,list the main quality problems exposed,use quality management tools statistical analysis table method to summarize and analyze these problems,and use cause and effect diagram method to find the root cause of these problems.Combined with the development trend of the existing engineering design industry,from the perspective of improving the competitiveness of enterprises,the necessity of strengthening the quality management of chemical process pipeline design is expounded.Based on the understanding of PDCA cycle and total quality management,the author decomposes the problems found in the typical process piping design work into four stages of PDCA.In the planning stage,the key points are to identify the design content and depth,formulate a scientific work plan,and establish a personnel assessment system;in the implementation stage,the key points are to clarify the professional interface relationship and implement unified drawing regulations;in the implementation stage,the key points are to identify the design content and depth,formulate a scientific work plan,and establish a personnel assessment system;In the inspection stage,it focuses on the standardization review of design documents and strict implementation of countersignature regulations;in the disposal stage,it focuses on timely corresponding design changes and continuous improvement.In order to improve the quality management of process piping design,the scheme or implementation procedure is put forward.For the implementation of the quality management of chemical process piping design,this paper also puts forward the safeguard measures,emphasizing on optimizing the composition and ability improvement of engineering designers,building a perfect personnel supervision and control system,strengthening the control in each design link,strengthening the ability of design service and improving the technical level of process piping specialty.For the control measures of quality management proposed,the author also applies it to the actual project carried out in the same period,training the designers,emphasizing the work of procedure and specification formulated by safety and drawing up,and has achieved obvious effect.The working efficiency has been improved in the practice process,and the highquality design documents are delivered and approved by the owner.
