Research On Comprehensive Improvement Of Small Towns Environment From The Perspective Of Multigovernance

As a link between rural and urban areas,small towns play an increasingly important role in the process of economic and social development in China.However,in the process of the rapid development,many regions only focous on economic and social benefits,but ignore environmental benefits,thus creating huge economic benefits to small towns while generating serious environmental pollution.As people pay more and more attention to environmental issues,the environmental remediation of small towns is imminent.Since 2016,after Zhejiang Province proposed the “Comprehensive Improvement of Small Towns and Environments”,in three years,the rectification of small towns in Zhejiang Province has been quite effective.This paper will study the various measures to improve the environment in the application of multi-governance theory in Louta Town,Xiaoshan District,analyze the monitoring data about the local water quality and air quality,then judge the effectiveness of comprehensive environmental improvement in the town.Combined with the problems in Louta Town’s history of environmental improvement,it draws lessons from it and recommends that the vast cities and towns around the country to be revitalized should establish a perfect long-term diversified governance mechanism in the process of environmental remediation.
