| The project of returning farmland to lake is a very complicated one,which includes ecology,society,economy and so on.Returning farmland to the lake is not only an ecological and economic problem,but also has a great impact on social problems.Therefore,whether the land can be successfully returned to the lake is not only related to the ecological environment,but also will affect the livelihood of farmers in the Dongting Lake area.Up to now,most scholars and experts are still discussing the project of returning farmland to lake and resettlement to build town.However,the livelihood capital of farmers is affected by returning farmland to lakes and resettlement to build towns,which still needs the current functional departments to attach great importance to.This paper takes the farmers who have returned their land to the lake in West Dongting Lake as the breakthrough point to analyze the impact of farmers’ livelihood capital on the return of their land to the lake.Based on the data required by this study and the previous research,we conducted a survey to Dingcheng District,Wuling District and Lixian County.At the same time,we collected data in the form of questionnaire and in-depth interview.Using sustainable livelihoods analysis framework,returning farmland to lake in a constructed project capital affect the livelihood of the farmers livelihood capital index evaluation system,calculate the livelihood of farmers capital and compare backed off field and the field differences of farmers’ livelihood capital,and USES the binary logistic regression analysis model for the key influence factors on analysis of the difference of farmers livelihood capital.It is found that different types of peasant households have obvious differences in human capital,material capital,financial capital and social capital,but not in natural capital.Social capital,natural capital and financial capital are still the main indicators for farmers to limit the improvement of livelihood capital.There is room for improvement in policy support.Finally,based on the main conclusions of this study,the problems existing in the project of returning farmland to lake are summarized,and some policy suggestions are put forward,such as building ecological project to increase income based on the environment of West Dongting Lake,establishing and improving the supporting system of farmers returning farmland to lake,strengthening the construction of social security system,and strengthening policy implementation and supervision. |
