With the rapid development of China’s economy,CO2 emissions continue to rise.Global CO2 emissions remained at a low level from 1960 to 2000.From 2014 to 2016,the average annual CO2 emissions were about 32 billion tons, and the contribution of greenhouse effect was as high as 65%.In 2018,CO2 emissions continued to increase at the level of 2017.With the acceleration of urbanization, the living standards of residents are improving, and the behavioral needs of residents are also increasing.Residents’ carbon emissions become the main source of greenhouse gas emissions in urban settlements. In recent years,China’s household direct energy consumption accounts for 11.6%of the total social energy consumption. In the context of global warming, energy conservation and emission reduction, the construction of low-carbon city has become the consensus of the whole society. It is an important choice to guide the transformation of low-carbon behavior of urban residents, and to study the energy conservation, emission reduction and low-carbon renewal of residents’ behavior. Therefore, the cultivation of residents’ low-carbon emission reduction behavior and the further optimization of travel structure are important contents that can not be ignored in the realization of low-carbon residential areas.(1)The concept and structure verification of low carbon behavior of residents in residential areas. On the basis of literature research, this paper defines the low-carbon behavior of urban residents as not only the choice and acquisition(such as purchasing low-carbon products),consumption and use(such as reducing driving),disposal and waste(recycling products)It is mainly through the concept guidance, relying on incentives and constraints and other means to make residents change their behavior.According to the results of qualitative analysis, residents’ low-carbon behavior is further divided into four parts:residential space planning,lifestyle,low-carbon consumption psychology and transportation energy consumption. The results of empirical analysis also confirm the rationality of this dimension division.(2)Theoretical model construction and low-carbon behavior paradigm construction. This paper first introduces the theoretical research trends and application fields of discrete choice model, and then applies discrete choice model to study residents’ low-carbon behavior. This paper explores the selection process of residents’ low-carbon behavior by constructing the general paradigm of residents’ low-carbon behavior research, and reveals the main views of residents’ cognition of low-carbon behavior:Residents’ cognition of low-carbon behavior is a cognitive paradigm based on global warming, social system under the influence of residential environment, and social decision-making system. The research paradigm constructed in this paper has important reference value for guiding low-carbon behavior policy-making,residents’ decision-making and promoting sustainable development.(3)An empirical study on Residents’ low carbon behavior. This paper investigates the residents’low-carbon behavior in a community of Changsha from June to September in 2020,and further uses binary logistic model to analyze the law of residents’ low-carbon behavior choice. The empirical study found that:in the personal basic situation variables, age has a significant impact on Residents’ low-carbon behavior choice;in the main research variables, green space configuration, landscape greening, public transport, commercial facilities density have a significant impact on Residents’ low-carbon behavior choice, and subjective norms have a significant difference impact on residents1 low-carbon behavior. In addition, the paper found that the variable of "education level" showed a "passivation" phenomenon in the simulation process, that is,with the increase of education level, residents’ low-carbon behavior choice will decrease. Therefore, decision makers can base on interdisciplinary, such as social psychology, and combine with the actual situation of residents to develop low-carbon behavior guidance strategy.(4)The optimization path of residents’ low-carbon behavior paradigm is proposed. From the four aspects of mixed optimization of residential functions under the guidance of community life circle, optimization of spatial layout, targeted guidance strategies for different characteristic groups and giving full play to the role of subjective norms, this paper puts forward the optimization strategies suitable for residents’low-carbon behavior paradigm.Through the research on the low-carbon behavior paradigm of residents, the influencing factors of low-carbon behavior status of residents and the key emission reduction groups in the residential areas are clarified, which provides the basis for improving the low-carbon behavior status of urban residents and formulating reasonable low-carbon behavior paradigm strategies.
