The construction of low-carbon communities is an arduous task in the construction of low-carbon cities in China.Community residents are important actors in the construction of low-carbon communities.Digging into the influencing factors and mechanism of low-carbon behavior of community residents has an important role in formulating effective low-carbon community construction strategies and community residents' incentive policies.According to these backgrounds, based on a large number of relevant studies and actual community surveys, this paper builds a model for driving low-carbon behavior of residents. This model can be used to examine the degree of impact and the path of influence of residents' low-carbon behavior drivers,so as to provide policy and decision-making basis for promoting low-carbon community construction. This paper first analyzes the influencing factors of residents 'low-carbon behavior driving forces from various aspects of the community's low-carbon construction system through a large amount of study of relevant literature at home and abroad, and summarizes the influencing factors of residents' low-carbon behavior driving forces. Then, based on theoretical research and investigation, the hypothesis of the theoretical analysis model of residents' low-carbon behavior is proposed.Based on the theoretical analysis assumptions and driving force analysis methods, this paper builds a resident low-carbon behavior driving force model that comprehensively examines the degree and path of resident low-carbon behavior driving force, and analyzes which influencing factors are the key to the resident low-carbon behavior driving force factor. In the model construction, this paper analyzes the influence degree of residents' low carbon behavior driving force through the improved Likert scale method and factor analysis model.Similarly, this paper introduces Pearson correlation analysis, structural equation model and ISM model to investigate the influence path of residents' low carbon behavior driving force.Further, based on the survey of community residents in Baoding City, this paper uses the model of residents' low-carbon behavior driving force to conduct empirical analysis, and brings in the influencing factors of the 18 low-carbon behavior drivers of residents. In the model, the key factors driving the low-carbon behavior of residents are obtained, and the driving system of low-carbon behavior of residents is constructed. The results of empirical analysis show that residents' own longing for a better life is an important driving force for the construction of low-carbon communities.Theimprovement of people's living standards not only puts higher demands on material and cultural life, but also demands for environmental protection. At the same time, residents' moral literacy is gradually improving, and they are more eager to improve the environment. In addition, the government's mandatory requirements and the improvement of low-carbon infrastructure and related services are also the deep driving force for residents' low-carbon behavior. The leadership of the Communist Party of China and the government is the support for the construction of low-carbon communities and the guarantee for satisfying the people's longing for a better life.Inadequate low-carbon infrastructure and related services can result in residents not being able to participate in low-carbon behaviors properly and damaging the enthusiasm of low-carbon behavior. Finally, based on the conclusions of the driver's low-carbon behavior driving force, this paper proposes practical measures to solve the bottleneck problem of low-carbon behavior in low-carbon community construction and promote the construction of low-carbon community.
