As of World Autism Day in April 2,2022,the number of children aged 0-12 with autism in China has exceeded 2 million,making autism one of the most prevalent mental disorders in children.At the same time,Inclusive education,as a highly inclusive special education concept,is trying to give autistic children the opportunity to attend ordinary schools,and realize the vision of autistic children and ordinary children growing together.However,due to social difficulties,narrow interests,rigid behaviors and other obstacles,the integration process of autistic children and ordinary children still faces many challenges,among which the peer interaction problems of both children are particularly prominent.Starting from the Inclusive educational environment of preschool children with autism,this study focuses on the content and behavioral needs of peer interaction between children with autism and ordinary children in this environment,and constructs toy design strategies and practices that promote peer interaction between children with autism.In the literature research stage,the characteristics and needs of preschool children with autism in the Inclusive education environment are summarized,and the domestic literature and market status of toys for children with autism are sorted out.In the stage of product analysis,the interactive functions,interactive ways,materials and colors of toys at this stage are analyzed,and the potential development trends and problems are summarized.In user research stage,from the perspective of joint support multiple roles,around the target users and stakeholders,use of field surveys,user interviews,participatory observation,research Inclusive education under the autistic children and normal children's peer interaction,build up the children with autism,sums up the common interaction characteristics of children with autism,peer interaction requirements and related people expect.Based on the above research,the author proposed product design principles and strategies for preschool autistic children under inclusive education,and designed a toy product for peer interaction of autistic children according to the principles and strategies.The purpose of this study and design is to effectively promote the peer interaction between autistic children and ordinary children,and alleviate the abnormal emotions of autistic children,exercise fine hand movements,and cultivate the cooperative consciousness of mutual care.The specific scheme is based on the interactive experience of the existing toys for autistic children in China,combined with user characteristics and preferences,and optimized in terms of functional play,material color matching,size structure and other aspects.All in all,this study can well solve the problems of low peer acceptance,little interaction and difficult relationship maintenance between autistic children and ordinary children in the current Inclusive education environment,and thus provide practical reference for future services or design related to Inclusive education environment for autistic children.
