Abstract/Summary:
Childhood is a significant period in one’s life;however,toys are usually’ the most valuable friend to one child.Toys provide children a wonderful childhood.It is not only a mentor when kid learns to play,but the toy also helps to develop children’s intelligence,build children’s physical health and teach them new knowledge.If we want to pay close attention to the development of children,we must focus on children’s games and give attention to children’s toys.In another word;toys,in the development of a child,play a very important role.The entertaining and educational functions of toys are highly related which makes more and more consumers and parents want children’s toys can not only play with the kids,but also boosting children’s growth.This idea has been rooted in the mind of many toy buyers and parents.Faced with this situation,those forward-looking toy manufacturers began to respond-as the prevalence products of the last century,Zaojiao reading machines and other electronic products as long as educational toys have shown more and more diverse features.In today’s society,children STEAM educational concept has been widely accepted.The advocate of STEAM education is combine learning with playing and consumer’s focus has become the educational value of toys.Parents buy toys to meet the needs of children’s intellectual and emotional development,and therefore the functionality of the toy design element becomes important.As designers,toys and their educational function are not only a product,but also a design concept.In this case,as a toy designer,one must have a very comprehensive and thorough research on how to teach children with toys.So if you want to do a modern toy design;toys must be highlighted with the educational function during the design process,and you must focus on the educational value of toys.
