Autism has become one of the most common and serious types of disorders in the child population.Most interventions for children with autism rely on tools such as games and toys,and are guided by parents or teachers in rehabilitation facilities,which often requires a long and difficult healing process.The design of therapeutic toys for children with autism can help improve the effectiveness of interventions.With the continuous development of science and technology,the application of intelligent interactive technology to toys for children with autism is gradually becoming a trend.However,the existing interactive toys for autistic children in the market have problems such as unclear product positioning,imperfect emotional experience,and overly redundant or simple interaction processes.Firstly,this paper compares three key concepts of this topic: interaction design,intervention therapy for children with autism,and toys for children with autism,and analyzes the design elements of interactive products and the existing problems and design feasibility of interactive intervention therapy toys for children with autism,and identifies the design practice steps of this topic that belong to the field of interaction design,namely,requirements analysis,conceptual design,prototype The design steps of this topic,which belong to the field of interaction design,were identified,namely,requirements analysis,concept design,prototype design,and solution evaluation.Secondly,through field observation,questionnaire research and interviews,we discovered the problems and needs of autistic children,parents of autistic children and teachers of rehabilitation institutions,and summarized the design points of interactive intervention therapy toys for autistic children,namely,the main points of functional interaction design include clear cognitive attributes,pleasant operation experience,beautiful interface performance,timely and moderate feedback,and visible training information;the main points of appearance design include bright colors,safe materials,and soft forms.Thirdly,the design principles,methods and strategies of interactive therapeutic intervention toys for children with autism were proposed,and a model of interactive therapeutic intervention toy design for children with autism from individual play to their gradual integration into systematic social research was constructed.Fourthly,the design practice was guided by the model to design the product appearance,functional interface and app of an interactive toy for children with core symptoms of autism.Finally,the design evaluation of the design scheme is carried out by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to complete the justification of the design scheme.The study shows that the systematic application of interaction design concepts to the design of social cognitive intervention therapy toys for children with autism has significant positive effects on enhancing the functionality of the intervention therapy,providing a reasonably interesting and efficient user experience for the relevant target groups,and reducing the corresponding burden caused by the intervention therapy for children with autism.
