With the rise of information technology such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing,the manufacturing industry is gradually moving toward intellectualization.As an effective method to achieve the fusion of information world and physics world,digital twin technology has played an important role in the development of intelligent manufacturing.This paper develops a digital twin-based assembly line based on the actual construction requirements of the production line and embeds digital twin technology into the jacquard faucet automated assembly line.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the current system framework of digital twin technology and the actual development needs of the production line,the system framework of the Jacquard faucet assembly line based on digital twin was planned.The framework is divided into three parts: the assembly line entity,the virtual model,and the connection between the assembly line entity and the virtual model.Each part is studied and the key technologies involved in the implementation process are introduced.(2)Based on the analysis of the product structure and the current process flow,the process flow of the automatic assembly line is planned.Combining the structural characteristics of the product and the assembly requirements,the workstation for each part assembly is designed.Based on the analysis of the information perception requirements of the assembly process,the sensor's perception node is designed,and the motion control system of each workstation is implemented from hardware and software systems.(3)Based on the framework of the production line system,the digital twin is constructed from three dimensions: geometrical-physical,behavioral-logical,and constraint rules.Geometrical-physical models are described and constructed at the atomic level,cellular level and system level,respectively;the behavioral model is described and constructed using a finite state machine model;the constraint rule model is described and constructed from multiple aspects of production process rules,production process rules,deduction evaluation rules and rules of related field standards.(4)Based on the requirements for connecting physical entities and virtual models in assembly systems,data communication was established based on the OPC UA protocol.The related technologies of the OPC UA protocol are researched,the OPC UA server is built by KEPServer EX software,and the OPC UA client is built in Unity3 d.On this basis,a data exchange channel between the physical layer and the virtual layer of the digital twin is built.(5)The corresponding actuator and motion control system were developed,and the mapping of physical entities to virtual models was realized.
