Research And Restoration Practice Of Dai Costumes In Menglian Xuanfu Department

Menglian Xuanfu office is the residence of 28 chieftains of the Dao family who ruled Menglian for 660 years.It is one of the 18 chieftain bureaus in Yunnan frontier ethnic areas,the core of Meng Lian's famous historical and cultural city.The Dai costumes of Menglian Xuanfu department are also changing with the development of the times,more and more young people have forgotten the excellent culture in the history of Menglian Dai,the study of Dai costumes has become an important topic.Through literature research and field investigation,it focuses on the style structure and technology of Menglian Dai costumes,it makes up for the deficiency that the study of ethnic costume culture focuses on representation and despises structure,it is a beneficial attempt and combing to explore the proposition of "learning from materials and knowledge" of ethnic minority traditional clothing culture.Combined with the arrangement and analysis of Dai costumes in Menglian Xuanfu department,this paper is written from the following six chapters.The first chapter summarizes the history of Meng Lian's propaganda and Fu Department;The second chapter describes the development and classification of Dai costumes in Xuanfu department;The third chapter focuses on the style,fabric,pattern,color and accessories of the Dai costumes of Xuanfu department;The fourth chapter describes the body structure and manufacturing technology of clothing in detail;The fifth chapter carries out the practice of dress restoration design;The sixth chapter discusses the exploration and inheritance of the humanistic value of Dai costumes in Menglian Xuanfu department,and try innovative design practice.The research and restoration of Dai costumes in Menglian Xuanfu department,theoretical experience found and summarized in the research process,expanded the theoretical knowledge of the structure and traditional manufacturing skills of Dai costumes in Menglian Xuanfu department,It provides complete and reliable data and pictures of clothing structure and technology for future relevant research,finally,it is concluded that the elements and manufacturing skills of Dai costumes in Menglian Xuanfu department are not a simple skill,it is also an embodiment and carrier of social and humanistic value.
