With the development of teaching reform, curriculum reform gets to hold the central core and draws our attention progressively. Combining the latest achievements from both home and abroad, this thesis makes a thorough investigation of curriculum structure of the Chemistry Department in Teacher's University. This paper falls into five sections. The first section, the theoretical base, mainly introduces the curriculum and the connotation of the curriculum structure employed in this paper, and presents on analysis of the curriculum structure frame offered in Chemistry Department. The second part offers a detailed account of the problems in the curriculum structure, makes a comparison with its counterpart abroad, and discusses the necessity of this curriculum structure reform so as to yield strong grounds for this reform. In me third part the bases and principles of this reform are examined. As for the bases, this paper attempts to construct the quality structure model of the coming chemistry teachers and deal with five kinds of quality structure relationship in order to produce the directions and goals of this reform. Adopting international curriculum classifying standards, the fourth part, also the key one, divides the courses of Chemistry Department in Teacher's University into public elementary courses, educational courses and chemistry specialized courses. Based on global systematic design of the curriculum structure adjustment and reform of these an attempt to illustrate the proportional relationship diagrammatically. In the last part several issues and relationships in the process of reform is briefly summarized. In a nutshell, we hold that teacher training, the machine tool in the whole education, plays a key role for the development of elementary education. Responsible for the training of teachers intended forelementary education, teacher training can only meet the requirement of elementary education by producing high quality teachers. On the other hand, curriculum is the focus of the teaching of teacher training. For this reason, the adjustment and reform of curriculum structure in teachers' university could not only contribute to the development of elementary education, but also the prosperity of the Teacher-training, or even the whole education.
