Reuse Of Waste Silk

As a natural fiber,silk material is the earliest animal fiber used in ancient China.So far,silk materials have an irreplaceable position in clothing,home textiles,medicine,technology and other fields.People's large demand for silk products has also increased the number of silk wastes in daily life and industrial production.At the same time,home textile waste suitable for recycling and resource utilization has also been on the rise in recent years.The future of waste silk and waste home textiles remains to be solved.From the perspective of design,this article discusses the use of hand-made methods to reprocess waste silk and carry out the design practice of silk hand-made household products.Investigate and investigate the status quo of waste silk,collect waste silk from industrial production links and daily life,understand the basic treatment and material properties of silk materials,and conduct related treatment experiments and material research on waste silk.Go to Sanxi Town,Dianjiang County,Chongqing to learn the local hand-made silk craftsmanship,improve the transformation production process,and apply traditional hand-made craftsmanship to the treatment of waste silk.Carry out characteristic analysis and evaluation of the treated waste silk,discuss the product design direction,finally sort out a set of waste silk reuse treatment process,make use of the residual value of the waste silk,design and manufacture a series of silk hand-made household products.This design practice provides a new idea for the treatment of silk waste,turning waste silk into treasure,discovering more visual possibilities of the material,and looking for new ways to retain and carry forward the traditional hand-made silk technology.
