DC power socket is widely used in daily life and has a large market demand.However,at present,the DC power socket manufacturing industry is in the initial stage of industrial upgrading,and the production mode is backward,especially in product assembly,manual assembly is still widely used.With the increasingly severe social problem of labor shortage and the increasingly higher quality requirements of the market for products,backward production methods have been unable to meet the needs of the society.In order to improve the DC power socket assembly efficiency and product quality,enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises,the realization of assembly automation is an inevitable trend.Entrusted by an electronic components manufacturer in shenzhen,the university has initiated a project to develop an automatic assembly system for DC power outlets,aiming to solve the problems of insufficient productivity,high production cost and unstable product quality of traditional assembly lines.This topic takes "DC025" series DC power socket as the research object,carries on the research and development of the corresponding special automatic assembly equipment.The work content and research results of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)process and overall scheme design of special automatic assembly equipment.Through the investigation and analysis of the existing assembly technology of "DC025" series DC power socket,the relevant literature and patents are consulted to determine the process flow and performance index of "DC025" series DC power socket automatic assembly system.Then by comparing the characteristics of different assembly machine types,transmission modes and plane layout modes,a reasonable overall plan is finally worked out.(2)research and design of automatic assembly technology in key assembly areas.By analyzing the functional requirements of the three-pin assembly area,the performance requirements of each component are determined.Then,according to the idea of modular design,the three-pin assembly area is disassembled into several modules for research and design.(3)structural design and numerical analysis of riveting station.Numerical analysis of metal head riveting process is carried out by elastic-plastic finite element method,and the deformation characteristics of metal head riveting flanging and the influence of punch structure on riveting process and riveting quality are studied in combination with riveting test.(4)development and testing of testing machine.Based on the previous research results,the design and manufacture of automatic assembly testing machine for DC025 BM power socket are completed.Then,the function verification and performance measurement of the key technical scheme were carried out by the testing machine,and the problems appeared in the test were analyzed and solved.(5)product structure optimization for assembly automation.By applying the method of product structure design oriented to assembly automation and combining with the research results of previous automation of DC025 BM assembly,the metal head,long pin,contact shrap-bullet pin and short pin of DC025 BM were optimized to improve the assemblability of DC025 BM.The DC025 BM power socket automatic assembly equipment studied in this subject can effectively solve the existing problems of insufficient productivity,high production cost and unstable product quality in the current industry,which has high engineering significance.
