With the rapid development of the aviation manufacturing industry,automatic robot drilling and riveting system are widely used in aviation manufacturing.As one of the core components of the robot’s automated drilling and riveting system,the performance of the drilling and riveting actuator directly affects the processing quality and efficiency of the whole system.Aiming at the problems existing in the assembly of aircraft isolation bulkheads in a domestic aviation manufacturing enterprise,combined with the production requirements,a development scheme of drilling and riveting actuator based on a double robot automatic drilling and the riveting system is proposed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)To solve the problems of low labor efficiency and poor riveting quality in the drilling and riveting assembly process of a specific type of aircraft isolation panel and improve the drilling and riveting process,an automatic drilling and riveting system based on dual robots are constructed.(2)To solve the problem that the upsetting head is difficult to form due to the hardness of titanium alloy rivets in the drilling and riveting process and to improve the automation efficiency of the drilling and riveting process,the drilling and riveting actuator,which is the critical component of the automatic drilling and riveting system,is designed in detail.(3)To study the relationship between die inclination and riveting quality,the finite element software simulates the process of electromagnetic riveting of titanium alloy rivets,and the dynamic deformation process of clips is analyzed.On this basis,the relationship between die inclination and rivet stress,shear stress,hole wall extrusion stress,rivet rod interference,and riveting electromagnetic force is analyzed by changing the value of die inclination.Combined with the range of the optimum interference,the value of the die inclination angle is determined when the forming quality of the rivet is the best.(4)To meet the design requirements of lightweight drilling and riveting actuator and improve the stability of the drilling and riveting system,the mechanical performance evaluation and modal analysis of the base structure of the drilling and riveting actuator are completed based on finite element software.Under the premise of ensuring strength,the response surface method optimizes the size of the structure with the minimum weight of the actuator base.
