Case Study Based On The Cultivation Of High-value Patents Of HZ Company

With the rapid development of China’s intellectual property industry,people’s attention has shifted from the increasement of patent application numbers to the improvement in the quality of patents.How to cultivate high-value patents with good market prospect,high degree of technological innovation and stable and reliable legal protection has become a topic that needs people’s constant exploration and research.As the leader in the children’s durable goods industry,HZ company officially launched the high-value patent cultivation project in the field of child safety car seat in 2017,in the expectation of creating high-value patent center and forming the r&d resources,talent advantages and innovation ability together through uniting colleague and the external services,and forming a batch of important high-value patents in child safety car seat field,and explore a high-value patents cultivation path that can be used as a reference for others.This paper mainly adopts the case study method to take the high-value patent cultivation project of HZ company as the research object.This paper follows the research ideas of putting forward problems,analyzing problems and solving problems.Through the detailed introduction and in-depth analysis of HZ company and its current high-value patents cultivation program,the main problems in the high-value patents cultivation of HZ company are "lack of core patents","low patent conversion rate",and "unstable patent status".Then the paper deeply analyzes the causes of the problems according to the high-value patents research status at home and abroad,high-value patent concept,management incentive theory,patent strategy theory,value chain theory,getting the causes are “not having a strong core team for the cultivation of high-value patents”," not having a powerful high value patent cultivation management mechanism ",and " not having a perfect information management platform for the cultivation of high-value patents ".According to the analysis of HZ company’s problems,and combined with the characteristics of high value patent and the actual situation of HZ company,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward as follows: “ cultivate the core team for the cultivation of high-value ”,“establish an integrated management mechanism for the cultivation of high-value patents ”,“improve the information management platform for the cultivation of high-value patents”.Based on the actual situation of HZ Company,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures in the aspects of team building,management mechanism building and information platform building.Hoping that these strategies that come from practice can actually be applied to practice.At the same time,it is also expected to provide some reference for the cultivation of high-value patents by other Chinese enterprises.
